apologies georgie, but the 'homework' smart was aimed at the first poster, who didn't check his facts before posting. He was obviously looking at the pc versions.

You just posted too quickly!

Ok no problem, and thanks for being big enough to apologise. You don't often come across people on here who are prepared to say sorry. Have some rep on me for being a good egg.

i wouldn't be surprised, its coming from the people who made the massivly overhyped & underperforming Assassins Creed.
#14
They made it too easy with no challenge, still it looks nice enough.

I can't say I'm finding the challenge any less than the previous ones (aside from the buggy warrior within which I had to restart from scratch several times), while you can't die you still have to get through the platform sections it's just you have less frustration doing some parts over and over. On death you're not taken back to where you were, you're taken back to the start of the section you were trying so if you're not good at platforming this is no easier.

I would prefer more combat plus I prefer the combat system from Warrior Within/Two Thrones but on the whole I am enjoying it. The game has the same fluid feel from Sands of Time which makes the platforming quite enjoyable especially when you're not punished due to the camera swinging unexpectedly and throwing you off the edge.

I'm enjoying my steelbook copy from Game for 25 quid.

Good platforming, good story but found it a bit too repetitive with the boss area fights, just clocked it tho so i can get back to left 4 dead :P

Good price i guess, so hot from me :)

 Have you played it?

If you fail in battle, you'll be 'saved' by Elika, but the enemy's life bar will be refilled.

If you fail in platforming, Elika will take you to the last piece of hard ground you were on (i.e. checkpoint)

It's exactly like dieing but without the usless "you died. Press a to restart, b to exit to main menu" screen.

Very well put. I haven't played it yet (Christmas pressie) and although I've heard you can't die, what you've said makes perfect sense and I salute you for it! Dying is always a pain, and usually takes far longer than you want it to, to go through the menus and for the game to reload where you last were etc. Rep added.

Aww, aint you lovely. ;-)

I completed it last week. It's short, but any longer and it would have outlasted its welcome IMO. Enjoyed it entirely, especially the banter between the 'Prince' and Elika.

From one Chris to another! :-D
