Yeah, it doesnt look right above (55.4), it says in the specs Combined 36.2,
I always minus five for the real world so I make that 31.2 average - not great
Skodas are fab! Why pay for the VW badge when you can get a Skoda for a much lower price. I've had a Fabia and currently have an Octavia and they are so good to drive. There is really no need for any anti-Skoda snobbery lol believe me ;)

Agreed. Much the same as buying a Passat.
I am guessing that this stupid comment is your attempt at a wind up? (_;)
This is reminiscent of the dim-witted Onkyo comment.
Skoda has moved on.
I had a Superb for 5 years and it was the best, most reliable car I have had. I've now been compelled to take a 5 series as a company vehicle and it's not a patch on the Superb.
Get your facts right.

I'd go even lower, a 105hp 1.6 with a modest torque output will be working hard to pull that lump of pig-iron around.
It's a good price, but who buys saloons anymore? Any deals on estates?
Better off going for a TDI.
Get a Passat or if you can afford it, like me, get an Audi ;)

Skodas are decent cars - owned by VW now I think.
I'd be happy with one. Can't afford new though. Just about to buy a 2007 Fiat. That'll do me.

New Skoda's are far more reliable than new VW's.
