You can make the D-pad push out. So its a bit like the PS3 D-pad. Helps a lot when playing fighting games like Mortal Kombat.

Or doesnt as the case may be ... but it is more likely to break than the 'proper' original controller. Looks very nice though, especially the blue one.

I've had a transforming D-pad controller since Dec 2010 and twiddled it countless times. No breakage and as mentioned really really good for Mortal Kombat. It's no Super Nintendo controller, but it is 10x better than the old style D-pad.
yep because MS are so much worse than nintendo and Sony?

ps2 released is a plethora of colours
ps3 also more than 1 colour
end of the day, no one is forcing anyone to buy them, but choice is never a bad thing.

Yeah I sure hate it when Microsoft forces us to buy new accessories. Choice sucks, everything should just be one colour.
