It tastes ok but you still get in a temper when you drink too many!

I drank two last night and I was affable and even tempered. I intend drinking the remaining four this evening (to celebrate the weekend) so watch out.oO

Hmm hate to bust your bubble but real ale is the only section of the drinks market which is still seeing it's market share increase. Lager and keg beer sales are down significantly on 10 years ago and whilst cider was increasing a few years ago it has also started to drop off in the last 18 months, if the future of non-wine or spirits drink is anything it's real ale based on what people are actually buying.

This is not meant as a comment on the product in question, I haven't tried it myself so won't pass judgement yet.

if you read the label it says only 50% of the apples are handpicked
#31
Its better than i thought would be!! Seen it was 4.5% alc vol and thought oh no, not another Magners rip-off , but it actually is quite nice and not like the disgusting Magners!!
#32
Favourite Cider has got to be Savanna.
Not like cheap and nasty Strongbow etc.

http://www.babco.co.uk/savanna.html
Available in most supermarkets and regularly on offer at Tescos
#33
And from another posting
4 crates of Savanna Cider for £25 at Tesco - BARGAIN!!!!
Believe there's 12 in each crate, so 48 ciders for £25.
If I didn't have loads from other offers already, would stock up especially with my brothers staff discount.
#34
Aspells Suffolk Cyder is my favourite....The champagne of ciders!!!!!
#35
Incidently, Cider predates Ale as we know it in the UK. Hops were not imported and culitavted until well into the middle ages whereas apples are native. So as Mr T might say "Get some nuts" (and drink ale!)

Come to a CAMRA beer festival. Spot the women is like trying to play a football pitch size where's wally, whilst ****. I would estimate that at least 75% of the crowd have professor beards - i highly recommend it!

And in what way is that supposed to make Ale more appealing to us...?
I really don't understand the attitude about stuff like this, bloody hell.

Wicked drinks taste like perfume ( girls smelling aid for those who drink ALE) but advertised heavily for men on TV and hordings...

men should not drink wicked/wkd. It's not a good look.
