Mmm dont think they will be very good at that price , ok for a basic tv though if your not fussed on picture quailty.

Btw your pic is kinda scarey , what is it? is it of a pre-op or something?

the REGZA range are historically very good. the prices are realistic giving the way the market is going at the market. £400 for a 720p lcd tv is about par for the course. the 42" is cheap here, but more expensive from other sites (c. £720).

go take a look at the comet website- sony 40-42" tvs are around the £700 mark.

its the 1080p tvs that are gonna cost you alot at the moment, the 720p are not full hd hence their prices.

This is a very good LCD for the money, seems to work very good on SD (freeview, sky etc.) as well as being a top notch performer with any HD content, The sound is pretty decent as well. The chap in comet gave me a detailed demonstration of it about 3 weeks ago. However this is the very latest Toshiba model:
http://www.flattelly.co.uk/shop/toshiba-32xv503db-digital-full-1080p-p-2121.html

this has full 1080p, game mode and Exact Scan 1:1 Pixel Mapping. I will wait a couple of months before taking the plunge on this one.
