This is the platinum edition by the way, doesn't say so but I bought from there about 6 weeks ago for £19.99 (reduced from £31.99) and the platinum edition arrived.

I've sent them a enote to confirm what edition this is? Will update as soon as they reply.

I hate the packaging for Platinum, so if anyone has a copy non platinum to sell message me :)
#4
how much is postage?
#5
Cheapest delivery is £2.08, which is delivery within 5 days. Total of £17.08.

A quick check (the only place I have checked) shows you can get it from Tesco's for £17.00.

Not very hot. Sorry.

Isn't the platinum version better as it comes with add-ons?
#7
Its £17 at Tesco Entertainment and with the code you can get it for about £14 odd pound, the code only works on the first order 15% - FTSL15-1 but you can re-register with a different e-mail address and its the Original version, not the platinum

£17.08 for the platinum delivered = warm. Cheaper elsewhere and got it for £15 from shopto a few weeks ago.
#9
Shopto is cheaper sorry

£14.99 delivered from HMV. Should be able to get quidco too.
#11
Asda had it in store last week for £17 for the original.
#12
I got mine from ASDA for £14.99 and it's the original and is the not platinum version. Cold sorry
#13
Ordered from Tesco yesterday.
£14.45 delivered + 8% Quidco
#14
Why is this gaining heat when it's obviously cold??

Platinum versions of games are exactly the same as the original, only with uglier packaging.

I don't really see what the problem is regarding packaging, it seems to be more to do with the spine when stored among your collection. If you have access to a good quality printer then just download the original cover.

There's even this website where people design their own cover sleeves.

Why go through all that trouble when you can get the regular version for cheaper? o_O
- £13.30 @ Tesco
- £14.45 without Quidco

I understand that, I didn't comment on the price as we're all agreed that it's cheaper elsewhere.

My comment was aimed at those that already own a Platinum version and are unhappy with the packaging.

edit: I'm suprised this is still gaining heat, I guess that many people vote without even bothering to read the comments.

Platinum packaging is damned ugly, but then again any older PS3 title with that stupid "Spiderman Font" logo on is damned ugly, thankfully Sony had the sense to change it to the same styling as the PS2 and PSP logos and change the box art which now looks a lot better in my opinion.

It does'nt matter what the cover looks like, it whats on the disc that counts,
#21
to avoid the ugly packaging try to pick up the collectors edition (in a tin box ) then you have a decent cover :)

I wouldnt buy a really powerful car that looks rubbish, I dont like seeing an awful platinum looking title in the middle of all my originals

Good point - didn't think of it that way.
