Bagels are lovely, especially with soft cheese...mmm. These ones are not particularly good though. I eat bagels a lot. Asda were good, now not so good. Tesco too, good but now not so good.
Aye, it`s hard to find a good bagel nowadays.

Bagels are yummy, all flavours. They are neither nasty nor American.

They're Polish mate, but I'm sure you can be unnecessarily xenophobic about them too.

Logged into Tesco's site. You can't view their prices otherwise.

If they're not onsale at your store, I can only suggest a staff conspiracy, the aim of which is to indulge in the bagel lovin' themselves.

asda bagels are the best

Bagels are about as tasty as.....well that green sponge stuff some flower arrangers use I imagine has the same texture and flavour.

Plus these being 'New York' ones must either not be very fresh or severley inflate your carbon footprint, maybe they should launch some Old York ones instead for the eco-consious consumer
#21
These are good! But annoyed that they don't do half price instead of BOGOF... my girlfriend and I struggle to finish 2x5 bagels within a week as it usually means we have to have a bagel breakfast 5 days in a row... not nice!!

They should have East London style ones for Tescos in London... and they would come pre-sliced

What are you talking about? :?

They're made in Rotherham

Good deal, but once you've had bagels form Brick Lane the supermarket variety just won't do!
#27
Believing that these are real Bagels is a bit like thinking that instant coffee is real coffee.

@banterlicious - atleast there is someone on here, other than myself, who knows what real Bagels are. The Israelis at the Brick Lane Bakery have been knocking them out for virtually 24x365 for the last 20 years. Their Bagels, black bread, rye bread and REAL cheesecake is what it is all about.

They always have these deals on, at least once every month, I only pick them up when they are BOGOF and, well, I always pick them up! This deal will come and go and will be back in a month or 2 afterwards...

Good job I love bagels :)

Was it on Braniac Science Abuse that they found out if you eat a bagel before a drugs test, you fail? :?
#32
These are the worst bagels available, all US marketing and zero quality!
Best supermarket ones are Sainsburys, followed by Morrisons. The others are poor, stale. In my humble opinion;-)
