I did.
The deal says "Newcastle" brown ale but it's not.
The water does not come from the same place so it is NOT Newcastle brown ale.
Of course, Cockenys won't notice the diference. (_;)

PS. I did reply to your "pleb" namecalling but as it would get me banned from here for life I have called you a diferent C....Cockney!
TBH, even that should be sufficient as it is only beaten in obscenity by Mackem but never mind, there's time yet.

Its a brand name, its the name thats given to the beer inside the bottle that has that name on it. The deal is for that brand of beer.... i know things have changed but the deal stands... and is a "deal"!

and i apologise, but i didnt mean much offense, plebs a light hearted comical term in my vocab

in that case I'm profanely sorry.
I never did really call you anything.
Prob is, I'm well insulted by them still calling it Newcastle brown after so many men up here lost their jobs due to the move.

And a double sorry. <3

This is shown as a national deal so I'd think that they just haven't updated the label in your store.

As a fellow Geordie this is a good deal, however I dont like the stuff.. and it turns people into headcases ....

Got to say Pluun voting it cold because its technically not made in Newcastle anymore is stupid.

Still a good price though!
#23
Can't beat a bottle of Dog, nevermind where it's produced it's made to the Geordie Recipe and that's good enough for me & "Clint Eastwood" (he has it specially imported by the crate) Would be nice though if they decided to allow Northerners to produce it again! Have some heat m8, great deal!
#24
Just like owt associated with newcastle, yer cannit give it away

its says Newcastle Brown on the front doesnt it :-P

No, classing something made in Tadcaster and not Newcastle as a "technicality" now THAT'S stupid!!!
Go on, admit it, you're really a Mackem!
#27
Not drank any of this since they moved, but still a decent price for those who do.

You do realise it moved to Gateshead a few years back (before the N Yorks move)? Might as well drink Beamish brown if it's upsetting you that much.

You really make Geordies look like complete tools. People like you complain about why people dont like us geordies... no wonder they dont when they see idiots like you -_-

For the record.. I am not a Mackem. I live in Gateshead.

Its a BRAND NAME. Your logic is ridiculous... thats like saying french fries (including the french fries brand crisps) should only be called UNITED KINGDOM FRIES! because they are made here in many many many places.

Again .... tool

Anyway... man.. I am hungry I think il snack on some brazili... oops I mean United Kingdom nuts...

Good price, but this is the foulest beer I've ever tasted.
#34
It's rank. As is double maxim.

Waggledance on in lidl for 1.29 or Spitfire at morrisons for 1 quid a bottle both better options.
#35
Love this stuff :) bought 12 when they were £1 at Asda the other month plus mums 10% discount.:)
#36
Good price so deffo a 'hot' vote.....

........however even cheaper in the staff shop at Tadcster ;-)
#37
I have drank gallons of this in my youth, nice ale
#38
Great price!

Both my local Tesco express' have this deal on and both are now sold out.... mainly because of me :-)

No I don't.
I'm not bothered what Mackems and Cockneys think.

Hmm. Geordies have a saying (real ones, that is) "A man can live his whole life in Newcastle and never, ever, need to go to Gateshead"

Your logic is ridiculous... thats like saying french fries (including the french fries brand crisps) should only be called UNITED KINGDOM FRIES! because they are made here in many many many places.
French fries?
Are you refering to "chips"?
You sound more like a Mackem with every thing you say.
Again .... toolAnyway... man.. I am hungry I think il snack on some brazili... oops I mean United Kingdom nuts...

Hmm......don't you mean bananas?

ps. You seem very agitated over a simple mention that Newcastle Brown Ale isn't.
Or is it because you have been outed over your intentions towards my bum?
Never mind, petal
