Looks really good - thanks

I wish West Ham would reward their fans with deals like this, they just release 2 new shirts a season and only sell it in the club shop so you can' buy it cheaper elsewhere. Good Deal & Voted Hot !
#5
Looks more like Harchester United than Newcastle United.

Im gunna buy the home kit this year but £40 is a bit steep for the change kit - plus i live in london so i cant see the game anyways

Plus arnt they changing the 2007/2008 kit ???

I am a converted toon fan had supported man u from 1992 till 2006 and then after man u won the title i decided for a change and picked newcastle

Not particurlarly a good season for me to start supporting them but we came good at the end - hopefully this season will have us on top form

plus with keegan back last season it was great will be be fantastic this year
#10
I would be happy with a top 6 finish.
3 points to start the season would be good

Awful shirt for an awful team.

Stupid deluded barcode fans. Big stadium doesn't = big team. Hopefully they will go down this year

Not gonna get into a fight with all the people afeter a bite. Newcastle week in week fill the stadium, for a team that has not won a major trophy since 1969 thats pretty good going. Newcastle are a big team in turns of tunover £130 million for 2006-7 only spurs, chelsea, Man Ure, Liverpool and Arsenal turned more over. Football clubs are businesses these days and what they do off the pitch is just important as what they do on. I admit it would be nice to win a trophy, the league cup anything. I think a good season would be a top 6 finish, but for that to happen big fat mikes gonna have to get his big fat cheque book out and back Keegan. Our squad at the moment is looking very thin on the ground.

never gonna happen

They are also releasing a 3rd (cup strip) this year. I'm not wasting my money on that as likelyhood is they'll only wear it once in each cup before being knocked out.
#26
Excellent deal - fair play to Newcastle United for rewarding their fans.

The only shirt to buy next season is the new Aston Villa kit - thanks to them 'giving' the shirt sponsors spot to Acorns, a local Childrens Hospice (www.acorns.org.uk/). Well done Randy Lerner, its made me as proud as punch and long may this association last. Check out the Acorns website for more information and about details of how to donate to this worthy cause.

Don't think you quite grasp what being a football fan means :whistling: Yes I support Newcastle and will do wherever I am in the world or however badly they're doing - thats the fanatical part. Its the beliefs, the roots, the sheer misery and the odd happy times.

It would be good to take a couple of years off and support Man U and win a couple of Championships - but I think I would be physically sick, since I wasn't being true to myself.
#28
As a Sunderland fan I think this is an excellent incentive from Newcastle as a football club. The price of replica shirts these days is over the top, so offering tickets to the friendly against Valencia, at least gives the fans that buy the shirt a little bit extra than normal.

I think Newcastle fans will agree that your off the pitch press has been pretty bad, so this will go some way to redeeming yourselves ith the fans.
#29
I couldn't care less about the garish looking strip....but a lot of people will be pi$$ed off that we're still taking the shilling from the bankrupt Northern Rock i.e. depriving those poor punters who lost out financially when NR went tits up......rather than walk away and get ourselves a different sponsor.

Now THAT would have been better PR for newcastle and the hard working geordies who've been parted from their cash....not that fatty ashley cares one jot......

At best newcastle will finish about 10th this season ....and KK will not see the season out.

Hopefully all 3 North East teams will stay up without giving their fans the jitters as per usual...:w00t:

There's a guy who i work with who about 10 years ago was a Leeds fan ( had all the clobber, went to a few matches each season ) . The following year & god only knows why he became a Chelsea fan & again wore the kit & went to matches when he could get a ticket. Now he's a Leicester City season ticket holder ! When i question him about it he just laughs & says you have to support who's doing well . That still don't explain Leicester though does it ?

Northern Rock sponsored/paid newcastle upfront, Newcastle won't take no money from them next year as they have already had it all.
Newcastle Utd the only government sponsored team in the premier league.

Keegan will see the season out, they'll finish between 6th and 8th
