I bought this last year for my friends Cinema Cellar Room... works well for a casual keyboard/trackpad.

Keys are reasonable but the feel seems rather cheap - obviously if you were to compare to Logitech/Microsoft you'll be disappointed, however as a third party brand it's seems well worth the money considering what else is out there in the market.

So to summarise, if you want something for your media machine then this'll be ideal. Otherwise stick to something a little more substance.

Heat and Rep - good find.

P.s a lot of HotKeys available [re-definable I think]. :)

logitech and microsoft keyboards are not high quality!
all rubber membraned regardless of their price.

hot deal, I had bough one for my parents last year for around 25 quid.

Got one for myself now :)

Thanks!

One of the reviewers on the ebuyer page states they have it working in ubuntu 8.04
Think I'll order for my PS3 and O2 joggler :)
#21
i'm sold on it.

thanks very much...

I own this as I brought it as a cheaper option to the keysonic.
It is a good keyboard providing you are on a flat surface. I had it as a media keyboard as it was in my PS3 and worked fine when I installed YDL on the PS3 as well - so I would imagine it works with ubuntu.
If you aren't on a flat surface, the mouse often flies around uncontrolably and can be very very frustrating.

Now I have it on my media PC and it works just fine. Good price as I paid £20ish for it.

It is also very light - but the mouse pad is a teeny bit small. Just my opinion though.

Good price, bought 2.

Thanks

Is this the cheapest/best keyboard deal out there for the Ps3?
#25
who do they use for delivery again DHL?

wikll it work with a mac?
#27
we plug all sorts of KBs into ubuntu and they all work
USB has a little delay then bang your off
Also COMPAQ and HP KBs with volume controls very often work
I bet you could find an APP laucher to associate and special function keys
But aprt from that the basic stuff is driverless
it is just a USB keyboard as far as the MAC, PC, LINUX box is concerned

COCO

I have a very similar device from last year via HUKD at EBUYER ( at £16.99 )
It is great , very light works very nice with my ACER REVO 230 mounted on back of screen
Because the USB dingle (which does look identical to the dongle on this one) just pokes out above the screen
ensuring good connection

and this for the mouse
http://www.apple.com/uk/magicmouse/

only £56 each plus p+p
That's £122.58 delivered bargain :pirate:

Can you believe these cowboys? As soon as a few people start buying they put the price up or the delivery charge rises. Just as bad as the PayPal Criminal Cartel. OK, maybe not that bad :p

You are probably right but I have seen them change prices and delivery charges many times on a product throughout the day like a YoYo. Must be a boring job for some geezer! :)
