I been using one of these as my spare keyboard to fix PCs for ages, been moved, dropped and generally misused for ages and still going strong.

If you plan on using this for linux though the scroll lock key which activates the illuminated keyboard doesn't work like it does for windows. i am no linux expert so there is probaly a workaround somewhere.

Wow free 5 day delivery on eveything at ebuyer. Is this new and lasting or a short term limited offer?

Regarding the keyboard, 1 comment and one further question:

1) If onyl it was a full sized illuminated keyboard

and does anyone know if you could have 2 keyboards plugges into a computer at the same time and have both of them operationally working?

You can with Linux. I don't use Windows so I wouldn't know about that but it would be daft if it didn't.

yuo are so rughy

As far as I know plugging another keyboard to a Windows laptop should make both keyboards work. Although I'm unsure what happens on a desktop.
#22
Im sure I have had 2 plugged in before, my wireless one and my wired one... on my desktop pc.
#23
It would make no difference laptop or desktop - the operating system sees them the same way.
#24
They look cool,ordered.

Just to offer my experience with these...they're OK for the price but overall not very good. I ordered two and on both of them the backlight would not work. Ebuyer replaced them with no hassle, and the replacements' backlights worked, but I then found the keyboard emitted a slight high-pitched whine when the backlight was on. The keys also need to be tapped quite hard: I used to get quite irritated with key presses not registering.

I've since tried a Targus mini keyboard which also hasn't impressed me very much, but it has been slightly better overall; however, if anyone has any suggestions for a good mini keyboard I'd be interested to hear them.

At £7.99 it's a decent price for a backup keyboard, however.

Thanks, just cancelled. I know there cheap but it will drive me crazy if it doesn't work correctly.

Edit- Decided to get one. Just seen how grimy my old one is.

You're looking at the non illuminated version.

received today, not impressed tbh think it will go back in box for a spare
#31
just got the mini version, do yourself a favour and DONT install the software/drivers that come with it. they are useless junk that have continuously running processes which use valuable RAM, in simple terms: one day they will slow down your pc!
the keyboard does work by just plugging it in and windows sorting out any drivers
#32
Im also not that impressed by the constant whine that comes out of this keyboard..... Its similar to putting your ear next to a CRT TV while displaying 60Hz, its really annoying :/
#33
Got mine and I'm pleased with it.

But only 1 of the 6 buttons at the top work. Think it maybe a windows 7 problem.
