I used a different email address to redeem this offer... if it means £10 off it's worth it. Free delivery to any store... I know they do it every couple of months but tought I'd share with you! You do have to buy something instore first and they give you the voucher. I was buying a £33 dress for my Daughter with a bobble hat for £5.

She asked me if I'd like the £10 off voucher to shop online so I snapped it up and told her to leave the dress. Ordered online for £23 and free delivery to my local store. I'm pleased, a tenner is a tenner!

Hope this helps all those out buying their winter clobber!!! :)

Hi, Sorry to burst your bubble guys but I used to work at Next, and if I was you I would deffo not take up this order. Please DO read the terms and conditions of this offer at the back of the card before signing up to it ;) Unless you want a store card with 25% interest on it then don't fall for the offer.

Firstly this offer has been going on for ages we just bring out new ones every couple of months which are identical to the previous offer. Also you don't need to buy something to get this offer as during the Christmas period you will see staff practically begging you to sign up as staff get in trouble if store doesn't reach it's targets.

Also each card has a unique code. I'll repeat again you DONT need to purchase anything in-store to get this and it signs you up to the directory card which has a massive interest on it. Also don't fall for the just sign up and use it and then not use the store card as you will be sent the catalogue without you even wanting it and each catalogue is worth like £2.99 if i remember correctly and then imagine the 25% intrest ontop of that :(

I don't get why Next cant be a normal company! you don't see Blue Inc or Debenhams doing this stupid offers!

Don't see the code or where you enter it?????

If you read the description it says you have to collect the voucher instore...
#3
Isn't it the same code? Wouldn't your code work for everyone?
#4
No. Instore they have bundles of these voucher cards but each one has an individual 10 digit code.
I have just double checked with mine using another email address and it says it is invalid. They can only be used once.
You can pick one up over the next 3 weeks as that's how long they will be instore for.

thanks for sharing:) Heat added.

Anyone know if these are given out throught outlet branches too or just general high street?
#7
All stores including outlets do them
#8
Ok so how do we pay do we have to open a directory account because I already have one or is it by card?
#9
You go online, register an account. Doesn't have to be a credit account, just a standard account. Hence the "register another email address if you're already registered with Next." Then yes, pay by card and enter the code into the promotional code box. :)

This only works 2 times. I think it must only allow 2 accounts per household / postal address.
#11
Does anyone know if the £15 spend can be on vouchers?
#12
Well I'm all for saving money don't get me wrong but if it only lets you do it twice then you're £20 better off and that's good enough for me.

the code are instore to use online there on the tills

how much do u have 2spend to get voucher?x
#15
Ok but you don't get free delivery on first order so actually works out at £6 off with delivery. Still good tho....
#16
I did this a few weeks ago. Myself and my husband signed up. I'd been in store to collect some wallpaper, on the way out the girl at the door gave us a voucher. We reordered the wallpaper online and got it for £5 per roll! Took the other wallpaper back to a different store. Saving us £20.

I saw cards similar to these a few weeks ago but I read the t&c's and it mentioned something about becoming a directory member and receiving catalogues which put me off.

Next opens up a credit account in your name and does a credit check when you register online. very bad experience with them.

Yep, every new account equals a new credit check. Not worth the hassle to save £10, would cost me more in parking and petrol, not to mention time.

This isn't true, I have just opened an account, paid by card (came out of bank account) plus I could receive a catalogue for free ...not quite sure what experience you had/information the person who works there has been given?!

Must've changed it then, as the account I opened when I joined had a credit check done.

When i did my order for the wallpaper. They asked if i wanted a catalogue and just click "No Thanks". Also i didn't have to sign up for a store card, just paid with my normal debit card. So looks like its changed!

That's much better, hate having to use their credit system when ordering online. I'll give them a ring and get it changed.

It's changed.
After reading the comments, I rang Next. I didn't consent to having a credit check and certainly didn't consent to opening a credit account.

She assured me that no such thing happens.

She said I don't have a credit account open and they don't do that unless you apply for a credit account online.

She said that they simply offer the cards as a way to entice new customers to buy from Next. It's not a way of tricking you into opening a credit account. She even suggested to me that I could use other email addresses to redeem the offer!!!

So guys... there's NO CATCH! It's just £10 off!!!!!
**Also, no... you don't have to buy anything instore. I went today and the man at the door was giving them out to people**

I have a "friend" who works in next and trurst me this is not worthy to be posted as a deal , they're given away practically for 4 weeks every 3 months in stores.

It's amazing how many people don't read the terms and conditions on these , as has been said already you're signing up for a directory account. Also it's the easiest way for them to get your details to send you marketing rubbish.
#28
If you're going to this you would be better of doing the recommend a friend option where you both get £20 credited to your account ! Anyone want the £20 feel free to give me your email address an ill give you the link ha ha. :)
#29
I'm up for that sanderson0107
#30
this is actually a 'deal' for unfortunates who dont qualify for a next credit account and who lives with many email addresses .lol X)
#31
Why so much confusion in this deal. It does sound a big too good to be true, but with xmas around the corner, sounds like they may have watered down the terms to get you in the store in the hope youll buy some more things along the way. As well as email you with plenty of spam too no doubt!
#32
EFFIN TYPICAL, JUST REGISTERED WITH THEM AND SPENT £60 AS A NEW CUSTOMER
#33
Seems straight forward to me, offer valid until 12th November £10.00 off £15.00 or more spend, new accounts only. You do NOT need to sign up for a Next Directory to use this offer, so just a straight forward discount, works for me!

Pretty sure you can opt not to have the directory sent out. I set up an account a few months ago and said I didn't want a directory. I haven't been sent one or been charged.
#35
Not necessarily, it's a deal for people who like to save a few quid so let's not assume we're all cheapskates now! Some people like to pay for their items upfront without needing a credit account so less of the sly digs "anishmathw"!!!!!!!

Correct, plus free store collection so a straight £10.00 off deal :)

People seem to be debating the terms of the offer...but has anyone actually read the back of the card (the bit on the back of the half of the card with the code on it)?

"Before you shop on Next online you must apply for a Next Directory Account. Credit applications are subject to status." Then it mentions 25.99% APR typical.

So to take up the offer, you have to shop online, but before you do that, you have to apply for the account, which seems to need a credit check. I know staff on the phone may have said different, but having worked in call centres for many years, I wouldn't take this to be true necessarily. The ability of staff in call centres tends to vary greatly.

The only thing I'm not sure about is whether you have to pay to have a catalogue sent out. An above post suggested so, but I would personally doubt this. I don't care about the credit check. I'll just use the offer, and then close the account in a few months having not used it except for the introductory offer. But I'll only do it if I don't have to pay for catalogues...
