I saw that someone on mse had said its this weekend too. But i have not heard it anywhere else so would like confirmation.
Don't they normally sent out vip invites?
#2
Yep I've heard this too.

If anyone has a VIP sale code, could you tell me if these

#3
Ta for the heads up.

Never understand why people go crazy for these sales. Everyone ends up wearing the same rubbish for about a month after. It aint a bargain if it aint worth the money in the first place.
Support your local independant and get good service and something unique.
#7
NEXT is the only decent adult clothes store in our town all other stores have closed down our town is rubbish for shops.

I agree. Next in particular sells cheaply made clothing at vastly inflated prices - best avoided IMO.

Agree for adult clothes but for baby/toddler clothing seems quite tough and hardwearing. I bought loads of stuff in the Christmas sale last year and my little boy is still in them (not the things he's grown out of obviously).

Also like the fact I got a quinny zapp and buzz half price.

i love next clothes for my little boy! between next adams and vertbaudet i cant decide on my fave! thanks for the tip voted hot!

I love them for my wee one too! Always find they wash really well :) Love Adams trousers too, the adjustable waistband is fab :)
#15
i have to agree - my OH loves Next clothes for our little one- their range is excellent, prices are not over the top, and quality is good.

thats why those are my fave! the adjustable waists! he used to be tubby but once he learnt to walk he thined down lol and normal 2-3 trousers waists are huuuuge!!

Me neither - apparently they are designed for the 'classic' shape and I'm completely pearshaped!

I'm a pear and haven't had a problem with them!

I like next because you get great, fashionable clothes without looking like a fashion *coughTopshopcough* victim.
#20
i reckon next sells some stuff specificaly manufactured for sales , eg lower quality than normal cause there is no way that all that stuff didnt sell first time round

its always the same stuff that has been for sale in the shop & directory, they might make 'extra' though as this year there seemed to be tons in the sale compared to other years

pear here too, things seem too tight in arms, too low in neck, trousers are ok, although most have been very low rise, but high waists are coming in now, so should be more comfortable
#23
The next instore stuff can be ghastly as they do bring in "specially made for sale" goods (same at their factory outlets). However the online sales are CRACKING as they are all stuff from the catalogue and we buy loads to stock up for the year on work suits/shirts and casual clothes for the whole family. well worth it.

Voted hot although I probably won't buy anything if its instore only (we had an online sale just a few months ago so we're spent out!)

:)

If you're a pear, I'd advise wearing something a little low rise, it makes the hips appear so much smaller. I'm a 14 on bottom for trousers, so not skinny - I've found it takes POUNDS off!

Yes I do agree, just dont find them so comfortable, belly hangs over (sounds gross doesn it!!).

in my local next it is only ever stuff that has been on sale there before, i know in the outlets the stuff is dreadful, the 'Lime at next' stuff is rubbish!!

Little perplexed as to how so much heat is being applied here yet we don't know what (if any) bargains are to be had.:?:

Hmmm, I must admit I've only ever bought adult clothes there, which have consistently turned out to be very shoddily made. Perhaps the kids clothes are better for some reason? Either way it's certainly not a store I'd ever use again.

I dont mind next but I do find the stuff a little boring to be honest...plus I think there sizes come in quite small and I dont like having to by a size larger in next that what I am elsewhere- vain women stuff:oops: :?
#31
i find there jeans to be bigger than the size stated on them!!! expecially petite.

i find the jeans a decent size, longer than average though, but tops all seem skinny, even big sizes
#33
im 5ft and when the petite jeans are scraping on the floor THAT is annoying!!!!!! lol :(
#34
these sales are usually only half the store!slow selling items are usually in sale....kids things are quite trendy and last till they have grown out of them people even boought some of my items on ebay so you get your money back to buy more haha!!!!thanks for voting hot!!

looks disappointing atm, at least for womenswear.

Wonder If Theres Any Codes Around To Shop Early ,i Havent Had A Vip Sent:-(
#37
The mid season sales can be a bit gash, and I have not known of any codes like the Winter and Summer Sales to be released!

I am guessing the next decent Next sale will be the Christmas one, which you should be able to access before hand!
#38
I find their regular trousers quite long and I have a 31" inleg and their sizes are over generous. Their 8 is too big but not M&S. Go figure! Might check out the sale though if I can sneak away from work.
#39
The sale starts Saturday 7am if that helps anyone
