This developer's previous titles have been outstanding! The Flatout series.

still in alpha? There was hardly any content the last time I checked :(

Still a blast in its current guise!
Well worth the flash sale price.

Caught my eye, reminded me of Destruction Derby that was on the PS1 so i bought it.

@Thebobwil, the devs are currently working on overhauling the game engine so content has been on hold.

I am not sure how they can charge so much for an alpha release. More than a tenner - when you have the likes of Tomb Raider being almost given away.

It looks great though.

You aren't paying for an alpha game, how hard is that to understand?

You're pre ordering the game, but the developers are allowing people to test it beforehand.

Yeah, I forgot how much like Tomb Raider this game is in comparison, forgot all about Lara getting in a stock car and bashing round a track......silly me :p

I don't regard early access as a pre-order. Early access is a chance for those that really love a particular game in development that just can't wait to see it and wants to back it - to the point of helping the developers test and shape the product.

Yes, £11.99 is a really high price for a game concept - a few cars and a few tracks. Some of the reviews comment that little obvious progress has been made in the previous 2 months.

So my points are 1) there are loads of finished amazing games at great discounts in the Steam Sale - buy one of those and 2) save your money, let the game get released, wait for it to reduce in cost to the inevitable £3.74 price point.

Save your money guys..i bought this and while the game worked fine..its just a alpha demo at this stage and so you'll play it once or twice and thats about it. Theres only 3 different tracks, 3 cars and 2 playgrounds..it sounds decent but in reality all those die pretty quickly. This will be a great game im sure, but in this Alpha stage, it can wait
