How you find that out ? insider info ?

Usefull knowledge when to avoid the shopping centre as people are like animals at the next sale.

If anyone can put up with the barging and the elbowing and most of all rudeness that these sales bring out in people, in what a sad state the population has become, you're more than welcome to the savings.

Agreed 100% .. some people take the entire family just to stand and hold stuff that they have grabbed whilst they try and work out if they want it.

Don't think next sale's are that good , I bought a shirt and the next week it was in the sale more expensive that what I bought it for, I take it that is why they take off the original price tag.

Anybody know when it starts online?
#8
Yessssss! thank you!

It usually starts online on the same day at 8am, unless you meet the criteria to receive an email inviting you to shop the sale earlier.

I'll stick with online shopping. Your more likely to find what you want instead of instore.

I did the Next sale twice and couldn't do it a third time. It was shopping Armageddon!

I never get lucky with an early VIP slot either so I guess more money saved for me :)

I honestly don't understand why people get so worked up about the Next sale.

For starters, their clothes are average. Quality seems ok, style seems ok-ish (some of the stuff I see in there is dreadful, some of it is average. But no more than that) and I would say it's nearer the bottom end of being value for money (ie. not great).

But I just can't understand anyone who would queue up at 5am just to be one of the first in. Come on people, it's Next, not blooming Alexander McQueen or Burberry.

It's really quite sad to see people going nuts over a half price shirt from Next. People who get excited about this need to re-evaluate their lives.

Voted cold.

Shall I start queuing now?

How do you get a VIP slot??

Burberry???????? Lol.

I personally don't queue but I will shop online because when the clothes are reduced by half they are worth it.

Each to their own eh?!

Maybe just maybe people queue at that time because they cant afford to pay full price! Dont knock people because they cant afford designer!

I voted hot. I like next. I like the kids clothes and home, some stuff I wouldn't personally wear but you get that with many shops things you think no one would buy. A lot of stuff is way overpriced I agree but this post is about the sale which everything is normally cut by 50% that is a good saving whether you like next or not. I've never been to next sale in store and it does sound of putting however in Northampton we have just had a new 2 storey next built half home and half clothing so I am tempted to go I must be mad lol :)

f**k going to the sale instore. What's more relevant is that they usually coincide the £10 off £15 online spend codes with a sale, so hopefully these will be released soon.

U have to have an account with them. To qualify for vip slots u have to Purchase the catalogue every season and shop every so often without returning stuff. Also need to have ur email registered and have clicked the option to recieve marketing info etc

next stuff is terrible now, light, see through wrinkly fabrics and sizes are huuuuuge. Even a 6 is massive on me now. one of the well built ( muscular as opposed to fat) held one top up and it was perfect for him. online sale is rubbish unless you get the first VIP slot. quality has really gone down hill in last few years.

. my sister hardly ever buys anything and regularly gets slots. I return most stuff now as sizing/quality dreadful and still got slots, albeit mostly 2nd round. you seem to get a slot for some reason if you order week or 2 before slots issued ( I find anyway)

mods should this not be in misc?

Agree to have a copy of the Next Directory.
You must have returned less than two thirds of the items you bought this year.

Start date and time 2 days before got it. Lovely baby clothing, amazing styles and colours. At times not for yourselves but for others. I shop at Zara ;-)

Love seeing sad people waiting early hours of the morning just to buy cheap tat just so no one else can get it.Is there anything actually worth buying? Nope nothing.
#37
I already knew this couple of days ago...I just Googled it and it told me...its later than normal because they wanted to do it when the world cup had finished.
