Why? Because they show exactly what happened in the event of an accident!..... No one can lie with video evidence.

Because people use these as weapons against others trying to name and shame them believing they are policing the roads when quite often they are wrong about the rules or try to make others look dangerous or incorrect when in fact they are just as dangerous in other ways.

Not happened to me (yet) but I don't agree with everybody believing they are fully informed, knowledgable judges of the rules of the road when there are so many grey areas and/or areas where interpretation of situations can provide many true rights or wrongs.

Everybody's suddenly judge and jury using peer pressure and social media to destroy others.

utter nonsense, those events would happen anyway and if the video removes doubt it can only benefit those concerned unless they have something to hide

Unless they don't need the unnecessary bullying and hassle in the first place

The use of a camera to record what happens in an incident is incredibly helpful as many people tend to lie, at a later date, if they were responsible as without film evidence there will be no 'proof'.
Also many idiot drivers improve their driving when they realise they are being filmed. Also if you film someone driving dangerously you have evidence which may lead to less death by poor driving.
They will eventually be installed as standard fitment.
There is a possibility that the full events are not recorded so not giving the full story but the malicious use of recordings needs to be dealt with under current harassment laws.

Fully qualified auto electricians must be few and far between, would think Halfrauds would not want to pay the going rate ?

But show a young lad very basic wiring connections on minimum pay....
