Went into lakeside HMV branch to buy a cheap tablet as per Asus post. Saw the Asus with keyboard for £150 but decided to but the Acer A200 for £99 instead. Also the staff pointed out that they had the Nexus 7 32Gb for £160 as they had 20% off from £199 all new stock. Gave that a miss as my Mrs was with me. Would have posted earlier but just got home.

Please note that nobody else can apparently find this deal and at least one person has wasted time and effort and missed the chance of an actual deal from Argos.

    Price match vs Carphone Warehouse - they took off 10% of the total as opposed to 10% of the difference.

    Then another £20 cashback.

    Plus £10 Quidco.

    Worked out OK.

    The nice manager (Nothing like what the OP encounterd) pointed out that they were clearing stock and if there was any fault with any display or new untis they would either exchange for a new one or give a refund for a display one.

    Concede on the 64GB bit, I guess it was 32GB.

    Got it for my bro in law abroad so not an expert.

    Price is correct though - £132
