Bear in mind though if you want features such as audio gateway, I doubt the cheaper one supports it.

What is Audio Gateway, sounds like PR bull****
Bluetooth is Bluetooth, they have classes and versions.
Nearly all are V.2 and Class 1 100m.
I would think all dongles of this version and class will work with headsets etc...

They mean A2DP, which is supported by most of the cheap £1 ones too :D

Haha, you're right:) It is A2DP...well, I guess it comes to preference whether you prefer named vs nameless, and not forgetting the delivery time!

i got a cheap one from amazon or play for about £2.50 and couldn't get it to work on any of my pc's (all running xp), i had a nexus one before for £5 that worked fine so got another and that worked fine too (it was slightly different to the first one i got and didn't work with the drivers installed for the first one i had). the cheap one was also the same kind of size. it might work with win7 or vista, but it came with xp drivers and i downloaded updated ones online and still couldn't get it to work, so a waste of £2

i just use it for a bluetooth mouse, nothing fancy, i don't know what all the extra features are

Can i plug this into my TV's usb port to have audio streamed to my headphones?
