Psn should be doing something really good to apologise for the network outage! Paying for a service people are not being able to access because they cut corners on security to save money! I highly doubt we will see reimbursement for the inconvenience!

Likewise for xbox....they cannot stop DDOS attacks so in terms of security your very wrong, if you were to submit a request from any website enough times you would crash it....don't expect any reimbursement because quite simply they shouldn't have too, I enjoyed spending time with my family at xmas and I think a lot more people did with BOTH outages from BOTH consoles

Sorry I don't agree. I've been able to get on my Xbox One fine for a few days but still can't get on psn with my Ps4. If Microsoft can fix the problem then why can't Sony? Some kind of reimbursement/compensation is rightly due.

That's exactly what people are moaning about imo. A lot of people who know that it was a ddos will have some understanding of what it is. However, Sony have handled it quite badly, and taken a lot longer to get sorted than Microsoft did.

MS have 43 million users sony had 110 when you include vita/ps3/ps4/psmobile/psTV

My ps4 has been perfect for 24 hours now try looking at your router settings if there's an issue as could be that :)
