Tasting Notes

The Taniwha is crafted from grapes harvested in the Waihopai, Awatere and Wairau valleys in Marlborough, New Zealand. By combining grapes from three different sites, the top class wine-makers have managed to create a wine with a unique range of flavours. Crisp and refreshing, it has lively aromas of fresh gooseberries and white flowers, leading to rich, mouth-filling flavours of tropical fruits punctuated by zesty citrus notes finishing with a deliciously long aftertaste.

Gorgeous stuff. Hot!
Just saw this on the back of the Tesco Wine magazine. This is what Nick Juby, Wine Buyer, said:

"The 2008 Sauvignon Blanc vintage in Malborough was spectacular - in quantity as well as quality. With many wineries now needing to make way for the 2009 vintage there are some superb bargains to be had. The Taniwha is actually made by one of New Zealands very best producers. Part of the deal is that I cannot reveal their name, but I can say that at the offer price this stunning wine is an absolute steal."

I'd like to know who the producer is. Villa Maria, Cloudy Bay, Oyster Bay? Or maybe it's all a ploy to get us to buy it?
I cant get any of the Tesco promo codes to work, ive used the £10 off for first order ok a while back ,but when i try this code it comes up with Sorry, this ecoupon cannot be accepted, as it has already been used the maximum number of times. Ref: 50071 seems to be the same with ever code i try,i have put 12 bottles in basket and £5 del so comes to £65
