Voted hot. Unfortunately, old enough to have come across Nick Drake on an Island sampler 'El Pea' around 1973. Going to buy this.......

I have 'El Pea' too which gave me an intro to quite a few new bands back then, such as; Quintessence, Heads, Hands & Feet and Mott The Hoople who were the band I most got into from this sampler. I can take or leave them now but at the time they were the bees knees.

I bought Nick Drakes 'Five Leaves Left' (1969) for 50p from Woolies bargain bucket in either '70 or '71. I had never heard of him and just took a chance buying it along with a 'Spooky Tooth' album.
I loved it from day one and have played it fairly regularly over the 40 years since, eventually buying in CD format to protect the vinyl from wear.
