I think so. It was originally found by another member. If you are close to an Asda, well worth a look i'd say!

Great price if this is a real deal.
#4
can anyone confirm they have seen / bought some ?
#5
Hot if you can get it, a very good Champagne indeed and at that price it's a steal.

Got it from Cribbs Causeway, Bristol. Got 26 on Thursday (12 for me, 14 for the in-laws) and another 24 yesterday. They have got absolutely loads of it by the entrance in boxes and in the middle with the valentines day stuff. Not sure if it is nationwide but I would have thought it was.

My wife has expensive taste ... and it has kinda rubbed off.

Nice one. I'm not far from one so can check it out tonight. If none available they have some cava reduced from £11.90 to £5 which will do the job (twice as much for same price!). HOT!!

Been to 3 different stores within London area, no one's heard of that promotion....
#11
That is really odd. Must be Bristol Cribbs Causeway only. If it makes any difference, the Cribbs one is an ASDA WALMART Supercentre or whatever they call it. Unusual though, they weren't just getting rid of old sock, they had tonnes of the stuff.

Got it in Belfast.
Oops sorry no it was Pierre Darcys Champagne Brut N/V

Is this the BLUE label? as per your pic?? If so, it's nice enough...and usually around £15 a bottle. However, it's the NV beige label which is the top quality one...and that's around the £35 mark...

The blue label is NOT anywhere near to being the best sub £50 NV champagne... but a good price nonetheless!
#14
It is beige. I have never had the blue label but the person who started this thread must have just chose the first pic not knowing the difference.

#18
can anyone confirm if they enjoyed the promotion anywhere near london ? many thanks

Definitely none in Asda in Harlow. They had some champagne for £10 but it was some crudely named home brand like Chateau de Rene Artois

What do you mean " Happy Now "??. If you'd put up the right pic in the first place, no one would have had to ask.....oO

As I pointed out...the beige one is DEFINITELY a cracking deal at £10. It was a perfectly sensible question...don't make yourself look even dafter by making dim asides.....

I put the deal on as a favour in the first place, and the mods put the picture on. I didn't have a clue what colour the label looked like, I was just trying to help someone out!

Checked Asda in Telford.

they don't even sell this brand ...so looks like Not a national offer
#23
NV Beige label £17 in Majestic Wine & the 2004 gold label is only £19.

(sighs)- what a knob you are. 'Dim asides' - you sound like a British school master in an American film.

The guy was just trying to help.
