If you smoke more than 20 cigarettes per day, use Step 1 Nicotinell TTS 30 (21mg/24 hour) patches. If you smoke less than 20 cigarettes per day or you have completed Step 1, use Nicotinell TTS 20 (14mg/24 hour) patches. If you have completed Step 2, use Step 3 Nicotinell TTS 10 (7mg/24 hour) patches. Do not start the patch programme at Step 3.
If you need advice before starting to use nicotine patches, talk to your doctor, nurse or pharmacist.

I gave up just over a year ago but i still wear the patches when i feel the need. I also noticed that without the patches i eat more. weight gain from giving up smoking is one of the main reasons why a lot of people start smoing again but as the patches take away the cravings you do not feel the need to eat to compensate.

If you have a private prescription you can get the patches for £1.50-£1.60

In Yesterdays News Of The World there is a voucher to buy niquitin Clear for just £5 at Lloyds Pharmacy, thats £10.54 off!

No smokers on hotdeals? :p
Maybe i should have found some cheap eastern european fags for £1 lol
I went into my local Lloyds last year and asked for patches and I got the whole 12 weeks worth free... all I had to do was come back every week to get a new packet... never smoked again :)
I think you can get one free pack from a government scheme at the moment but one pack isnt going to do a lot on its own. I remember something from last year where you got a free course, that must be what you got.

Do you still need to wear patches or are you ok wiithout them?
Well done for giving up though. :p
