I just picked up a tin of these cutters a few weeks ago, very similar to the picture from Tesco, full price was only about £3, though I'm not sure what size these might be by the pic.

Get cheap ones not Nigella ones in a poncey box.

Anyone reading this, i.e. those who put time and effort into keeping an eye on a bargain at HOTUKDEALS, should be absolutely ashamed of themselves if they think that a few bits of metal a.k.a. 'cookie cutters' could ever be worth £8.00. 'Nigella Lawson' and 'soft porn' are synonyms of the Zeitgeist and you won't get into her knickers by buying her overpriced sponsored 'products'. Believe me!

Wake up!

I second that!!

Looking at the product dimensions this is a huge box at 48cm diameter. So I'd say the number cutters are about 15 cm long each which makes them quite good value.

The link takes you to an Amazon Marketplace seller. If you look to the right it gives you other buying options where you can go directly to Amazon selling the same item for £8.

I'd agree that the original price was too much - but then we would probably say that about every single deal that comes up on HUKD!!!
At £8 including delivery I think these are pretty good value - 26 letters, 10 numerals plus you also get heart and star shapes. Probably worth mentioning that the numeral cutters are bigger than the letters.

Heres a direct link to the Amazon page at £8

Well I for one am going to buy them.
And then I will spell out 'I love Nigella' in huge biscuit letters, and post them to her.
Then we'll see who's in who's knickers!

2 reviews... hardly what you'd call a reliable sample but after reading them I think I might cancel my order. I bought them as birthday gifts for my daughter's friends but I think maybe I'll leave it.

Looking on Amazon.com - still only three reviews but same complaints about the letter size. HERE

Oops! Too late. They've been shipped already. I'll check them out when they arrive and if I don't think they are worth it they'll be on their way back to Amazon.

Just had mine delivered and while they are on the small side and having been prepared for that I don't think these sets are too bad for the price paid. I do think you will need to use a cookie mix that is on the dry side to get the best out of the cutters but I'll be more than happy to give these as presents for my daughter's friends birthdays.
