Terror reigns. Panic and paranoia take their toll. No one knows why the dead are returning to life, only that the living are eviscerated victims. In a remote wooden farmhouse seven people fight for their lives against ever-increasing numbers of flesh eating ghouls. One by one they are whittled down until, in a memorable shock finale, only a lone hero remains, cowering in the cellar while legions of ravenous zombies run amok. As the sun goes rises, he emerges into a new dawn.... has he survived the Night Of The Living Dead? Still one of the scariest horror movies ever made, George A. Romero's first feature film was way ahead of its time and heralded a new dawn in horror film-making.

Looks like an excellent price. But there are a zillion versions of this film on DVD/blu-ray. Some have cuts some not. Some are good transfers some poor.

Anyone know where this one fits? Good, bad, ugly?
This is apparently one of the better releases.
Ordered thanks. Can't really go wrong for that price anyway. One of those films I have always wanted to see (having seen all those that came later) but never got round to it.

Neutral as you can get this for free (as mentioned already). Blu-Ray rip anyone?
