Yes, i ordered from sheactive. I've got no reason to worry as yet even though i had never heard of them before your post. Their website looks professional and i always pay for internet purchases via credit card. I'll post back when it arrives.

Not the most reliable device if you what to measure running distance, keeps giving me a variation of about .5 km on the same route run :S

So you post a deal and are too worried to even buy from the site you posted about!

Let some other poor sap get done over, no confidence in your own deal, and then go heat begging, not good mate!

I posted this deal hoping it will benefit other people. If I had a comfortable amount of money in my account I would have ordered it straight away, but being a student at uni and being jobless this summer, I'm being really extra careful with the last scraps of money I have left.

It will work with the iphone. If you have the 3gs, you won't need the receiver part, just the sensor.

As far as I can see it will ONLY work with the 3GS... and you need to plug in the reciever to the 3GS...
Anyone?

Will the sensor work if in my pocket?does it have to be placed in trainer?
#18
The Nike sensor also works with the in built receiver in the iPod Touch 2G.
#19
Has to be placed in a trainer.
I bought a 'holder' for it off ebay for about 6 quid instead of buying expensive Nike trainers that would be compatible.
#20
Waterproof, attaches to the laces of any trainer (with laces obviously :D)

Your iPod touch (2nd generation) and iPhone 3GS come with an internal Nike + iPod Receiver, so you do not need to attach an external receiver, but you do need the Nike + iPod Sensor. The following article explains how to link your Nike + iPod Sensor to your iPod touch (2nd generation) and iPhone 3GS.

Can you reuse these, if you can't why not?

If the iPhone 3GS has GPS, then why will you need one of these sensors? Surely it's not long (if the software's not already out there) before a system will be released that uses the GPS system and will be more accurate with distance run, timing and all the other features that this sensor offers - as with any GPS system, I guess that the downside will be if you are running in/around enclosed areas (treadmill?!) where the signal cannot be easily received?
