Seem to go on Ebay for the GBP 40-45 mark!

If youre anything like me, your normal diet will consist of a fist full of Poptarts in the morning, a load of cheese Wotsits to keep you going through the day and many pints of Stella to keep me going through the night. Now I know you cant call this healthy and my waistline agrees. Something needs to be done or I will become a fat git, well more of a fat git.

So I decided to do something about it to help me out, we got these frankly as I wanted one. But we had to buy in bulk so I need to flog the rest to you guys who I would place money on the majority of you need it as much as I do. So what we have here is a device by Nike that not only acts as a watch, and not only lets you swim with it at up to 50 metres under the water but it also get this, it also measures your heart rate. So now you can see how truly unfit you actually are, even if youre a tiny skinny person.

Great if you want to see how many beats your heart has done on any given run, you can even keep track and see how much you improve (lower of course) your heart rate. Hey, you can even go for a swim and measure how fast your heart bounces doing that most popular breast stroke or maybe even stocking breasts. I bet both readings would give similar results.

Although I would discourage most from trying to measure your heart at 50 metres under water because I get the impression your heart does not work at that depth, so dont be trying to test out the watches limits, I really dont need a bunch of deaths on my conscience.

A few of you have complained that you dont like our style of product description so heres some alternatives. Dont spend too long reading them though as we may sell out by the time you finish. For the ones who like them I hope you enjoyed that, we like to inject a little humour into our site to help you through the late nights and early mornings

C'mon folks, read some of the previous posts in regards to Boffer or Google it, Boffer is the new sister company of Bigpockets, quite a few people had freebies and/or cheap items received now.

Trusted!

Your choice - I am going on pure factual data available from Companies House.

I am sure that companies like Rover, DFS etc all had customers who had their goods delivered fine.

Sadly, businesses go down. Before I buy anything over the internet, I look at a few things like:

1) Does there website comply with the law. This company's doesn't as it doesn't have their limited company name on the front page of the website.

2) What do their accounts look like? I am fortunate enough to have access to Companies House data, so I do a quick check.

Personally, I wouldn't want to buy anything from this company on the data that I have seen - hence the warning. Some people may want to, some people may get their goods and a bargain to boot. But just saying "quite a few people had freebies and/or cheap items received now" is not good enough for me to buy from them.

I got some free photo paper delivered in about 2 days from them when they were giving away free stuff, whats your proiblem?
Just coz it's "LIMITED NAME" whatever the heck that is :geek:isn't on the front page and you did a check, that doesn't mean anything.
This is a legit site who buy in bulk and make a profit by selling good value for money. :whistling:

Thanks for the advice and word of caution oneeyedvic, at least by giving people this information that can make up their own minds, though it is good that so far no one has reported any problems with the company.

I'm betting loads of these will end up on fleabay. It' a great deal, they normally retail at £80-90

Mostly good reviews on this item. If you're runner/jogger I would try to grab one. It's worth staying up late for.

Why all the cynicism about Boffer? It is just a seperate site produced by Big Pockets........think of it as an extra daily deals page on their website - it might make you sleep better at night.......;-)

They are doing some great deals this week. Everything I have bought (or blagged) this week has been received in good order. Top marks to Oli and the Boffer team.

Honestly, what is all the fuss about.

EDIT: Oh, and watch out for another freebie going live tomorrow (Friday) night.......

Well i trust BP and have to say considering they expanded into a new warehouse not 3 months ago i would assume buisness is good.

Maybe I am wrong but won't you be protected against not receiving your item by your credit card company if you use a credit card?

They must be watching HUKD..
I read on the last offer thread people complaining about the style of descriptions

I avoid these things.
I hate being reminded I'm only a press up healthier than most corpses.

If they did one that lied and encouraged me to go to to the pub, then yes, I would buy.

Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act will protect you for purchases over £100 only. However many credit card companies will still raise a chargeback on lesser amounts, should you not receive the goods.
