  I wouldn't touch this company with a barge pole. I have had to get a charge back from my credit card company to get money that they took from me, never delivered, lied on first email answer, ignored further emails and then lied on the phone, both about when stock came in and also that they would send product. I would pay more to get camera product from a reputable seller.

  Thanks guys, received today and very happy with it. Not many left with their 'Live stock' info. Also went for the bundle with the UV filter for an extra £5.
  Very good deal with the 'VR' system.

  Sorry to hear that 'olderthanhelooks', the transaction was smooth with Camerabox, ordered Wed night, dispatch email at 16.10pm on the Thursday and delivered Friday by 10am and iam in Aberdeen. £4.99 delivery but well worth it.

  No, that one doesn't have VR. It's a very good amateur lens for the money, offers good value, nice image quality and stabilisation.

  It is not safe to buy from Camerabox. Their reputation is deserved. The safest way to buy a cheap grey 55-200 VR is through one of the Amazon marketplace sellers. You pay about the same but if anything goes wrong with the transaction Amazon provide a safety net.

  I too have had problems with this company. Overall they eventually delivered but there is something up with how they process credit cards. I had fraud on a brand new card after using them, many many many other people experience fraud after using them.

  I have said the same thing
  Right now with Amazon fulfilling deals...you can get it for £148.98 like I did yesterday!
  This one is fulfilled by Amazon, that means that amazon is responsible for it and does everything, the packing, the shipping and the customer support tooo...which makes it a bit safer...It comes with 1yr international warranty and it's genuine, I have checked the serial number and everything and it's genuine!
  
  You can get it even cheaper from Fleabay...but I wouldn't trust them ...even though they have very good feedback...simply because I can't guarantee they'll be there if I need them, unlike Amazon who've always been hassle-free for me!
  
  And definitely I'm not paying £240 at Jessops or Warehouse Express!
