Anyone who picked up a Nikon D40 last week the same company is giving 30% off all items in stock, managed to get this lens for £132.28 and some extra with cashback kings
Cashback kings have suspended the DCC but I believe that other cashback sites work

I heard yesterday that Digital-cameras.com have gone into liquidation. I did get a camera delivered from them last week with no problems but best to check before placing an order.

Thats cheaper because its the non VR version. The VR Version is about the same price as DCC. Link below

I don't think that's the same lens. This one is VR (Vibration Reduction) to reduce camera shake, and normally commands quite a price premium.

Purely Gadgets are probably the cheapest reliable seller @ £132.95 + £5 delivery. 2% Quidco. Stock is sometimes grey sometimes not.

Local camera shops will usually match Nikon accredited online dealer prices - around £150 - if you provide proof.

as above, we've been informed they've gone into liquidation

Hi,

just to confuse things - as i had heard on here they gone into liquidation so I checked with Companies House at Isle of Man and they confirm the Digital Camera are completely up to date with all thier paperwork and that CURRENTLY THEY HAVE NOT FILLED FOR LIQUIDATION OR IN ANY PROCESS.

IF YOUR UNSURE BUT THINKING OF BUYING RING COMPAINES HOUSE ON 01624 689389.

I not sure who first said they gone into liquidation but be useful if they coud offer some proof...!!

I'd love to know the truth as some good offers ....
