This is my first post... so please bear with me.

Nikon D3100 is around £360 inc £40 cashback offer from Nikon + 14.89% Quidco cashback.

Just ordered one £469.99 at Bestbuy. After Quidco cashback it becomes £400.15 and after Nikon cashback it will be £360.15

This is the best deal I could find on Nikon D3100 with 18-55mm VR lens.

As far as I know you're not supposed to include cashback in the headline price. Nice deal though.
VERY naughty post!

You must remove the cashback as you need to actually payout £470, no way round that!
And cashback is now 5% not 14.89%. Research is the key!

*EDIT* - 5% on Quidco, 10.1 on TCB but don't know for how long.

Nikon cashback is questionable. No mention on Bestbuy web site. Cameras maybe US sourced, then Nikon will NOT pay out.
The promotion only applies to products which have been supplied and distributed by Nikon UK Ltd within the UK and Republic of Ireland....I'm not very sure how BEST BUY Deals but I really doubt it will be an issue.

Nikon Cashback
The Nikon Cashback Prepaid Card allows for a flexible, fast and convenient way to receive your payments. Your card is NOT a credit or debit card and does not have a bank account tied to it. It is a Prepaid card, so you can only spend up to the balance on your card, and only Nikon can load funds to it.

This is my first post and got lots of feedback on the post.

I think bestbuy reduced the cashback from 14.89% to 5% during the same time as I posted this.

Mine order is being tracked at 14.89%. With respect to the Nikon cashback I will have to wait and see.
Quidco cashback back to 10% + Nikon £40 cashback...
Out of stock and most stores have none too.- Also cashback excludes collection
There back in stock!!! Just ordered and quidco tracked 15% £70.50.

So even if you don't get the £40 cashback its still the cheapest.
I have just checked and Bestbuy Quidco is now at 20%. Have just emailed them to see if their stock is supplied by Nikon UK Ltd and would therefore qualify for the cashback.

Let us know what the outcome is, I might be tempted especially with the 20% Quidco running out at midnight tonight.
I didn't realise the Quidco was running out today... Wanted to have a look at the camera before buying really.. The email I got from BB is as follows. May try and call them later.. however if you are interested I suggest you confirm directly for your own peace of mind... Looks like my email to them was not worded tightly enough to get the yay or nay I wanted. It does sound promising though.

Good luck!

Hi Tim,

Thanks for your email and I apologise for the delay in our reply.

All our stock is sourced from the manufacturers however we are unable to advise if you purchased from ourselves if Nikon would honour the cashback promotion as this is an offer directly from them and we have no control over it. I can advise though, that I am aware of other customers who have received similar cashback offers from Nikon and other companies for goods bought from ourselves.

Hope this helps however if you need more information you can contact Nikon directly on 0330 123 0932.

If there is any thing else we can do to help, click reply or alternatively you can contact our dedicated customer services team on 0333 777 7777.

Our opening times are;

Monday - Friday 8am - 9pm

Saturday 9am - 9pm

Sunday 10am - 6pm.

Kind Regards

Lee Hoyle
