However I understand that this company is really bad for customers but they do have some great bargains !!! Stick any lens on it, set the aperture to f22 and take a picture of a plain white ceiling, wall or bit of paper. Check for any black spots. This will let you know how clean the sensor is.
They are cleanable but gives you a good idea how well it's been cared for. My D7000 was a bit dusty but cleaned up with some swabs.

most sensors are going to be dirty at f22
even a decently cared for one will show spots much wider open
it is a good idea to check though you're right

Just getting to grips with this after picking it up on the Argos misprice and I must say it's a great bit of kit :)
It's also given me some pleasing results by attaching it to my telescope (only manual works without a lens attached).

Good value at the price imo as there's nowhere else doing it for this money right now - heated :)

Cheers for the heat but don't think many ppl are agreeing. I'm prob going to go for A Tamron A14 18-200 mm F/3.5-6.3 Lens for around £85-£100

Got this in the Argos deal and then got the 35mm/1.8 from CEX -£97.50 del. Cheaper than ebay ! Don't know how the warranty works tho' .
