Ok hi folks thank for your time !
As you can probably tell I have a Nikon d3200 but I now wish to purchase a pre owned Tamron lens 70-300mm
I have seen two advertised in cex ( I don't want comments about the shop I understand that it's a horrible company )
However they are advertising two lenses which I think are the same ??? however at two different prices
Can you tell me are these the same please

As my Nikon d3200 does not have a built in motor I'm hoping the two lenses below will have and will autofocus with my camera

The one at argos was non vr lens kit. This is vr 2.

Got mine from John Lewis with the VRII lens but half regret buying it now as I'm doubting that I'll use it much on our holiday to the US. Should have purchased a PAS camera for convenience. Even bought a case and memory card from Amazon, but it's sat in the box still (only used it to take a few test photos indoors).

Oh well, you live and learn...

I bought this camera in the previous £199 deal at argos and am pretty sure it was a misprice. They corrected the website shortly afterwards. Great entry level camera though.

The £200 camera/lens bundle isn't the same as this.
The £200 was the non VR version of the lens, this is the VRII. The VRII quite a lot better then the non VR version and is a good 30% more expensive.
On top of that the £200 one was a glitch and supposed to be reduced to £300.

It does appear to be the same lens. Decent lens for the money. It will autofocus on the D3200, but the AF is meant to be painfully slow.

O2 customers can also use the priority moments £25 off £250 spend to get another £25 off this price. I'm very tempted.

Thanks OP heat added.

I would sell it, but not for £160 I'm afraid. It's only been opened to check that all is there and it works OK, and comes with the newer VRII lens.
Happy just to recoup what I paid. Not looking to make a profit.

I don't think it was. I purchased my digital SLR before Xmas and never saw it at that price. The closest Argos came was the D3100.
