Fantastic deal but was posted earlier.

Different vendor. Looks like the others may have twigged Amazon are cleaning up so have come in line.

Good alternative to amazon.

Has anybody claimed cashback after buying the d40 from Ebuyer, i'm sure somebody mentioned that Ebuyer supply grey imports.

Unless you have grudge against Amazon i cant see the point in buying this from anybody else.

Yes, I've read that eBuyer source their Nikon products from Asia, and provide their own warranty, so the current cashback offer may not apply. You should certainly check first if you're counting on that.

See Darren Tunnicliff's review of the D80:

I have tried to contact ebuyer but can't find a way to send a message via web site. I know from the past that ebuyer imported from the US and warranty and cashback did not apply with Nikon UK. If anyone can find out, please let us know. However can't see any reason to buy from ebuyer as long as amazon has got supplies, especially since ebuyer doesn't state whether their cameras are grey imports (cheeky).

I also read on a Nikon forum that many (but not all) ebuyer cameras are sourced abroad ie not from the official UK distributors, For the cashback you have to send a copy of your warranty slip which is printed Nikon UK

Appologies!

As others have said, the cashback may not apply. Would be better to buy from Amazon where it definately does and where you can reclaim the difference if the price falls withing 30 days of purchase (although I can't see it getting any cheaper than this for a while).
