I've been using a Canon generic from 7day for 3 years and it's still holding up well. I've no doubt these will be great too. Heat from me.

I've had one of these for a while in my D40X - no issues whatsoever.

it looks like the same battery that my olympus E500 uses,
nice price.

Cheers, have 3 batteries now which means there is a higher chance at least one of them has charge!

I bought a couple of these from 7dayshop, no problems so far.

At this price it's worth getting a couple of spare batteries.

Nothing worse than running out of power when you're out and about.

This is definately the way to buy dedicated batteries for cameras, etc. They are really stupid prices on the high street. With a couple like this as spares why would anyone choose an AA powered camera/

the compatibles are never quiteeee as good as the orignals. But the difference is minimal, especially when you compare the price difference ! ;)

I bought of these a few months ago. Seems well made and does the job but mine doesn't last as long as the Nikon original battery. Great as a back up though

Yeah, right. I bought a pair of generic batteries for my Panasonic TZ3 from 7dayshop which was making similarly extravagant claims about them. Not a patch on the original.

I have had one of these for nearly a year and the performance is virtually identical to the original- both take in excess of 800 photos on my D40. Great to have a spare with you just in case.

Looks like it's a good 'un then  - or at least yours was! I hope they are sourcing the same cells now than they were then, and aren't just filling half the case with sawdust!

I've had quite a different experience from same batteries, same source. Maybe they're just inconsistent in quality? Fantastic price compared to originals too.

great price, but I find that my battery lasts so long, I'm not sure when I'd need a second...

Just got back from a 2 week holiday, used camera every day, took about 1500 photos - battery still half full on return...

You may change your mind the day you have a fantastic photo opportunity and the battery dies just then! This is so cheap as an insurance policy.

Don't forget the battery life will be considerably shorter in cold weather.
