This is the cheapest I've seen it online or otherwise, even 'camerapricebuster' hasn't picked up on it. CameraPriceBuster Link

i think jessop are doing a better deal - have a look here:

...better if you want a silver SLR...not many people do, hence the cheaper price. I'm pretty sure this deal is the cheapest available black D40. I would quite happily pay the extra for a black one but I do appreciate that for some, this isn't important.
This one may be worth considering still as the Jessops one although cheaper is collection only and if not local could cost the same to get it....
Personally, the extra £10 to have a it in black rather than silver is £10 well spent imho.

Aye wish I had got my 350d canon in black, resale value sucks in silver:thumbsup:
For those voting cold because it's slightly more expensive than the silver one...

Now come on...think again...why do you think you can't buy hgh end/pro SLR's in silver?
voted hot - best deal for the black D40 I've seen.

quidco give 1.5% for sales completed online so price is circa £206 after quidco

The silver one from Jessops works out about £190 after quidco plus it comes with a free 8GB USB Flash Drive, worth about £10.
On seconds does look soo much better. voted hot!
A great deal - Nice one Master Scruff. Certainly the cheapest around for this camera as far as I can see.
