The cashback offer finished a while ago (unless you know they are about to restart it?), so the price is £319.99. Plus it's only £315 at Amazon and Dixons.

So they're saying here - http://www.pcworld.co.uk/martprd/product/seo/867410

Interesting. The Currys page doesn't mention it though. Nor does the Nikon cashback website:http://www.nikon.co.uk/sites/cashback/summer2008_buy.html.
Could just be out of date info on the PCWorld site, but if the cashback is coming back then great.

And Amazon don't give 4% cashback

Neither do Currys or Dixons (assuming you're talking quidco). PC World will give you 2.5% though.

Well, wherever you buy it I wouldn't reccomend anyone goes for this on the basis of receiving any cashback until Nikon confirm it.

Wrong - Currys & Dixons currently both giving 4% quidco - http://www.quidco.com/currys-entertainment/

That's for Currys/Dixons entertainment only. They're different sites.

I stand corrected, still great price and cheapest around - PC World still giving 2.5%.

That's not a current offer. It ended at the end of August.

Agreed! Works out at £311 after quidco.

These are not current, as they say

"For D40, D60 single or twin lens kits, or single lens + Speedlight kits
purchased between 1st July and 31st August 2008."

Sorry to put a dampner on it :(

Bizarre - they've run a cashback for all the last 3 quarters, not for Autumn? Would have been an awesome deal.

Yeah, it's a shame, but they seems to have reduced their prices a bit instead. The D40 came to about £220 when the cashback deal was on, now it can be had for £220 without cashback so I think it's just a change of marketing approach.
