What a bargain for the newest model.
I posted one deal on D750 few days ago, but this price is just astonishing
According to Camerapricebuster the cheapest uk model cost:
Mathers £1,695.00
Amazon and Jessops £1,749.00
Here £1,159 and £1,429 with Nikon 24-85MM VR LENS lens

i ordered d5300 2 months ago, no problems. fast delivery from uk but obviously import stock, never paid anymore than web price, but think its a bit of a lottery in regards to import tax, i would risk it again

There's no "lottery".
They ship from UK, end of story - with respect to any import duties.

agree! nikon and, to a slightly lesser degree, canon are getting left in the dirt compared to fuji and sony.

Dilemma.. Picking a camera is hard work :( this price seems to good to be true? Any advice folks?

Looks good to me. I use to buy imports when I was Pro and never had an issue.

Anybody bought this?
I'm thinking to order one.

I'm a professional photographer and own 2 of these. Cracking camera. I bought both of mine from Panamoz. Panamoz are excellent. They give you a Uk warranty and say they'll refund you if you get stung for import tax. I'd go with them.

Bought my D750 from Portus. Arrived without the flare problem. It was delivered around 5 working days after my initial purchase, couldn't be happier. Also their customer support was very responsive, pretty much every email I sent was responded to within a matter of hours. Even out of hours emails.

Avoid Portus at all costs! They'll create accounts to leave positive feedback which lulls you into a sense of security. Many rumours of them selling shoddy refurbs (not just grey imports...)
