works with my d90.

make sure you change the setting on your camera so that it knows you are using IR

Most of the bad reviews on any if these remote shutters are from those who try and simply put battery in and press to use. Camera's need setting up for it.

All the 'cheaper' ones are much of a muchness. Usually ok build but not for use that will hammer it. If you will hammer it buy the original Nikon one. Made for Nikon on them isn't an official one either as is easy to mistake!

If you rely on it for daily use get an official one, otherwise the cheap ones are good enough :-)

All imho...

I bought this before, then when I threw out the box Amazon sent it in, I'd left it in it. So hopefully this one is ok for 2 quid lol

I bought it to make photos for IDs. Saved a lot

i purchased one from ebay for 99p, not sure if i should wait for that or buy this :(

I bought one of these for my D5200 last Christmas. Funnily enough I found it to be exactly the same build quality as the original Nikon version which I had to return to Amazon due to it coming apart at the seam, it seemed to be glued together...

They're both plastic junk but at least this only costs 99p and works exactly the same as the £9 Nikon.

Amazing if only I knew what it was. Obviously other people do so have some heat

It's like a remote control for your camera... Quite useful if you're as sad as me.

Use with a selfie stick if you're extra sad ;)

I've said it before & I'll say it again. The hardwired one is the only way to go to guarantee a photo. The sun affects the IR ones & they don't always fire when you want thus possibly losing a good shot. Yes they work at times but....
