Been looking around for a pink or red 2DS and found this to be the cheapest in stock I could find.

I know there are some better deals included with a game but don't want most games offered.

Also noticed there's a free download code for a choice of games at the bottom of the page when you register the product.

Heat added to combat the usual Fowler troll attempt. I don't know any store where you can get a 2ds for less, so that makes it a hot deal. Isn't the RRP £99.99 anyway? Therefore a £10 saving on RRP is a good deal.

Well if anywhere else sold the console on its own you might find them cheaper, just because you can't find it cheaper doesn't mean it's a deal seeing as its rrp.

get it from Tesco Direct with Super Mario 2 built in
http://www.tesco.com/direct/black-and-blue-2ds-console-and-new-super-mario-bros-2/633-6311.prd
some codes were working to get it down to £79

unless you need transparency. Check your email - I got a unique code for 10% off at Nintendo.co.uk which I might use for 2ds+a new Pokemon game

Saw that deal too but specifically want a red or pink one as it's for a girl.
Great price though if your not bothered about the colour.

This 'deal' is for the transparent red console, if you're talking about the non-transparent 2ds console then yes there are cheaper deals out there just google or do a search on here.
So I stick by my comment about this not being a deal due to being rrp.

It really isn't a deal when its the normal price for a transparent 2DS without the pokemon bundle. I nearly preordered this months ago for the same price.

In not bothered if it's red or pink or transparent. As long as it's feminine for a girl. I have tried Googling and searching for a cheaper brand new 2ds. Believe it or not, that's why I posted it on here. Hoping to help others.

I don't want to Google anymore. You do it and find a cheaper one, then post it here. You might actually help someone rather than just troll and be Mr negative.

Again, please post these cheaper items. Oh no wait you won't will you. Happy trolling.

For £25 more you can get this with the new pokemon game plus red 2ds case, the pokemon game on its own is £30-£40 and the case is £8(rrp).
So as unknownkai said this is not a deal even if you remove the 'it's rrp' factor.

Edit: almost forgot nintendo also doing the free game offer at the moment is getting the pokemon bundle will net you an extra game if you register it with club nintendo.

Why have you got the Pokemon bundle that you're saying it takes up half the space? :p
You do know you can use a larger capacity sd, it's easy enough to transfer from the 4gb to a new card.

transparent 2DS on its own 89.99
transparent 2ds with pokemon locked to the sdcard/console 115
= 25 extra for a game you don't want and can't sell.

free game offer from nintendo, only applies to pokemon or smash bros,
you would like the free kirby game but downloding it to your 2ds will fill up your SDcard
so 25 extra for a game you don't want plus another 5 for a new sdcard
= 30 quid extra, or you could just buy kirby for 27 then you will have a physical game to play and then sell or keep for prosperity.

I'll ask again, do you have the pokemon bundle that you claim it take up half the capacity?
I have a 3ds xl that also came with 4gb(all 3ds/2ds come with a 4gb sd card), I have 4 full retail games on it so unless you're planning on buying another 3+ digital games(after the Pokemon and free game from the offer) right off the bat then the 4gb card will do for awhile. Next time check facts.
As the 2ds is for a young girl(going by the needing to be red/pink) chances are pokemon will be a game she will be into, it's not only boys who like pokemon you know.

Personally I went for the £130 transparent blue bundle with the steelbook version of the Pokemon game plus figurine.

don't patronise me, I am female and own over 30 consoles and probably close to 1,000 games if not more, including 3 3ds consoles, 4 if you count my son's, original 3ds came with a 2gig card but lets not split hairs about that, pokemon contains a lot of text and is mainly just travelling between one conversation or another with state heavy fights in between, very boing for a young child depending on their level of reading ability, I have games upto 2gig in size on my 3ds xl, I wouldn't like to guess at the size of pokemon or kirby for that matter but I expect the pair to be between 2 to 4 gigs in size as the avarage is 1.2 .

anyway none of that has anything at all to do the extremely basic fact that if you don't want pokemon you are better off buying the solo machine and a physical copy of whatever game you may have wanted from the free game offer, the cost for the game would be about the same and you'd have a nice shiny cartridge to sell on, swap or keep and sell on ebay in 15 years time when it maybe worth a tidy sum.

btw I opted for the solo transparent blue 2ds, nintendogs and cats and a blue hard case, total cost 110 pounds. The case Nintendo offer is not going to protect the 2ds if a child drops it its very soft flexible material, not a protective case, I have a red one with my 2ds.

This isn't a 'p***ing contest', however many consoles or games you may have doesn't remove the fact that you don't have the digital download version of the new Pokemon game so can't say for certain that it'll take up half the storage as you claim.
While the case may not be very protective it's better than the 2ds being dropped without it, I've dropped my 3ds xl from about waist height(so like 4ft) in a shopping mall(was putting it in my pocket when someone knocked my elbow) and it survived without a scratch just had to pop the sd card cover back on.
You're making Pokemon out to be more overcomplicated then it is, yes there are people who worry about all the small stats but most young kids it's about the cute Pokemon.

If you don't want pokemon then something like

http://store.nintendo.co.uk/nintendo-2ds-console/nintendo-2ds-white-red-console-bundle-includes-new-super-mario-bros.-2-red-mario-2ds-case/10976323.html

Would be a better deal then, well as long as the majority white with red trimmings is enough for the op and anyone wanting to buy a red/pink one for their daughter/granddaughter/etc. Don't get a free game unless you buy either smash bro or pokemon tho.

not a free game if you don't want pokemon as I've said, because its an extra 25 for that one as I've also said the 2ds Nintendo case is only going to protect it from dust its just a neoprene zip case, it won't protect it from being dropped or the games as it holds 3 games in pockets, you can buy a hard shell case from amazon for 5 quid which will ptotect it and has a lanyard to go round a kids wrist, pokemon is 14,499 blocks.

goodday.

Even if you don't want pokemon it's still cheaper than the transparent red console, once you've set up your nintendo id linked the club Nintendo account(if you have one) can delete the pokemon to free up the space. Should you ever want to play pokemon can redownload it for free.

I guess you don't know what sarcasm is.
And what have I done myself? Do you mean bought a transparent 2ds? If so then I got mine (effectively) with two games, makes the console like £50.
