Saw this with promo poster in the Liverpool store. Black only I think.

Nintendo 3DS is a groundbreaking hardware release that brings 3D gaming to the handheld market for the first time. The fourth major release in the DS product line, the Nintendo 3DS utilises 3D Slider functionality and an improved top LCD display to present a glasses-free 3D effect on compatible games, while giving players the option to moderate the effect as they see fit.

Not from Graingers I bet, that's why they have loads of stock piled up forcing them to slash the prices like this. Think they wanted £220 on launch day if I remember, great decision from their pricing team there.
#13
Hot, still wouldn't buy one again though, sold mine back to hmv for £200
#14
Yup, gamestation are also matching now, plus you should be able to also get £13.70 worth of loyalty points from it this week.
#15
Got a full refund from Tesco so nothing lost in trying one for me...made a few quid on the games as well.
Might consider one when they go sub-£100, get some decent games released, sort out the e-store and browser.
Oh...and when they get more than 3 hours battery life out of it.
#16
well i guess i might as well be the first crazy one saying i will wait as i can see this being sub £50 by 2020. i will wait till then.

Grainger opened a game store in Doncaster a year or two ago. They were unbelievably cheap. Bettered Game/station on almost everything. Now it is as dear if not dearer than the others.

I think they are looking to be gobbled up by another bigger US games store at the mo, which is a shame. I can remember going to Granger Games in Granger Market many (many) years ago. Another indie bites the dust maybe, hope it don't happen.
#24
not a bad price,I would probably buy it if 1-2 good games were available.but I think I have to wait another 2-3 months for them.and it might get cheaper by then..
#25
price anels for the carts my friends(_;)

great price so heat added but I refuse to buy another Nintendo handheld as you know they will release 3 more versions of the console to screw people out of more money.

For those near a Currys/PC World Store, remember you can price match and get reduced by 110% of the difference:

Currys/PC World = £197

Grainger Games = £149

Using Currys/PC World Price Promise = £144.20 !!!!
#30
i knew this 3d gimmick wouldn't last. I'm holding off for the NGP myself. Descent price though.

Hope the price keeps dropping for this so I can pick up an NGP + game for £200.

Same. As much as I want to play the Tales of the Abyss and Orcania of Time, as well as MGS, it just isnt worth paying for what are remakes of old games. 3D has always gave me headaches at the cinema anyway, as well as the fact that it is completely unnecessary tech in the first place.

NGP will completely outclass it anyway, even though it'll probably be a fair bit deerer at launch.

It's 10% of the difference.

But the 3DS is plummeting, no doubt making Nintendo a bit worried.
