  Not quite so simple as that.
  
  1st of all the date is actually the 11th of August not 15th, the price reduction comes in on the 12th.
  
  2nd if the item has already been registered to another user you won't get the games either.
  
  3rd this is more than likey going to be the new cost of the 3DS if new US price is anything to go by (US Currently $250 will be $170, UK Currently £170 could be £110 probs little more) and you'll probablly get console and game bundles.

  It's a third off the RRP, which is £230, not £170.

  Actually Nintendo announced yesterday that RRP will be £119 shortly, officially less than what they suggest the DSi XL should be sold for, and that the DS is still to be supported. A little fact here, Nintendo has never continued support for a product that has lost them half as much money or support than what the 3DS has. Even the virtual boy like for like was more beneficial and that was a flop that it never came to the west. Where's the 3DS going to end up???

  Nintendo have stated that there will be a price cut of 'around a third' of RRP on 12th August in Europe, so yes.

  I think the RRP after the price drop will be £129.99 new, based on it being $169.99 in US.
