  Be prepared to lose grip on the slidepad over time, had mine since launch and mine has little grip now it is quite slippery.. and no way to replace the slide pad, pretty sad.

  I would buy this IF they had some of the games i wanted on there, such as a new pokemon game (not B/W 2) + a new yu gi oh game lol.

  well i know they launched a new midnight purple edition to the 3DS colours in the USA quite recently so im guessing they will wait abit till afew of them have sold then release if any new 3DS models there before announcing a UK release

  modded? explain in which way you mean do you mean physically as in buttons and so on or firmware meaning compatible cards? if you mean cards then yes these do take some cards but only to play the older 3DS games... backups can be made of 3DS games but no such cards have been made to accept these hope this answers your question

  I too have been waiting since Christmas for a new model. I lost hope last week when Miyamoto said that it wasn't going to happen.
  
  However, Nintendo today just confirmed a new model will be out on July 28th. Oddly enough it doesn't have an extra control stick - the main difference is just a larger screen and bigger battery. It also lacks a battery charger.

  those who have used the voucher, it says it can't be used on consoles. I've just had an email to say my order has been refused. I've re-ordered at full price.

  I had my previous order cancelled as well and reordered at £119. Still a good deal.
