3DS is £175 but only if you buy a game for £34.90 at the same time.
So total £209.90 (less cashback)
Good price but I'm waiting until I get to try one (I mean you can get a PS3 for about this price!)

Btw I heard the 3d screen can't be used by kids under 5 and they mess with your eyes. I ain't getting one, I'll be the one laughing when everyone needs glasses. Anyways I have a ps3 and iPad so it would be pointless because I'd never play it lol

here is a blind fanboy, do some research next time. Nintendo itself warns 6 yrs olds or less to avoid the 3d feature.

I tried one in the Arndale centre, no doubt an amazing effect in 3D but it left me feeling slightly ill for the rest of the day.

The deals seem to keep coming down and I think this is a good offer, obviously demand isn't as high as expected! I know you need to buy an expensive game, that might be £10 too much, but what sort of person buys a new console and doesn't buy a game to go with it?

yep under 6 no go!!! WARNING !!

plus i think the preorder with £10 voucher was better deal with quid co at least £185 with the game.. after preorder i guess this is best ..

I Personally think nintendo made a mistake here ignoring Xmas as a time to bring out such an interesting unit

Personally i think this suggest Nintendo will bring some kind of Unit out for the wii
Or some kind of new wii out this year
as it means they are ignoring the best period of sale for their finest kit in years

I am a bit worried about speculation (which is what i have heard) that this is really bad for your eyes and makes you sick.
I am going to buy one but i am also worried about the thing about the eyes cause my eyes is already as bad as bad can get

Simple solution - If you're buying this for a kid ages 6 and under, don't bother. If you're in a house where they might play on it, hide it. Perhaps a high shelf? Otherwise, why cry about that children under 6 are advised not to play on it?

Also, I'm all for opinions and that, but a lot of HUKD members are forgetting the point of posting a deal - vote on how good the deal is, not who the product is suited to. Don't forget all those dildo's and stuff that i'm pretty sure 80% of members won't be buying, but is still voted hot.

regarding the eye problems.

if you have trouble with it I would just turn the 3d effect down really low or off entirely.

Or do what Ive been doing, I only play it on 3d for half an hour. I tried for longer and my eyes started feeling a bit dodgy, so I just stopped using the 3d.

I think people will only have trouble if they sit there glued to it for hours with it on full 3d, but lets face it thats not healthy for any console/screen based thing!

Starting to sound like Virtual Boy 2 this.
#15
If you are really worried about destroying your kids eyes, the parental controls built in can restrict the 3D effect

Turning it off completely would make it a completely pointless purchase.

I mean, its not as if you buy a DS for graphics or gameplay is it?

Good price but wow DS graphics on a new console with most of the games out, not impressed so won't be buying... Although Resident Evil looks good but not out yet.....

There's a warning on the front of the box!

Iv got one of these and its great...only good games out at the moment are RIdge Racer and Streetfight though
#20
HMV are doing it for a fiver less at £170 when bought with a game..........
#21
I had a go with a mates one yesterday and I wasn't too impressed. If you tilt it just slightly while playing as you would do then you lose the 3D effect, it also made me feel slightly iffy.
#22
The 3D takes a bit of getting used to, but i think the analogy to the Virtual Boy are a little unfair, it's more akin to the tales of motion sickness when console gamers got their first taste of proper FPS titles. You just need to play in short bursts if it strains your eyes and acclimatise yourself.

got one today. its awesome. never played street fighter in 3d before. takes 3d photos too which is great fun. also records sound and has a sd card with it for music. amazing. seriously worth it.
