  If they can't undercut Game, they're doing it wrong. :p
  
  Any time I've had to go into Game I always thought they were overpriced. If Comet were charging more than Game, their prices must have been as bad as Curry's are. £45 for a game other shops are selling for £35 and websites are selling for £30.

  that's what the guys response was when i asked why so cheap, their pulling out of gaming consoles and games because they can't keep up with game specific store i.e GAME,GAMESTSATION , they did have a ps3 on the shelf but i didn't take note of the price as it's not something my kids are into , they also had a basket in the middle of the store full of all remaining gaming items they have again this was all reduced

  Damn! I just called both stores in Aberdeen, one has sold out completely and has PSP's left. The other has a 4GB XBox 360 for £99 and Wii Fit Balance Boards. Could be true but I doubt there is much stock :-(

  Ring the 08 number, get through to sales. Sales will go "clearance line can't find it on the system, here is your local stores number, ring them yourself"

  The comet pulling out of selling games is not really NEW news as they started doing the clear out a few months back(around the time game and gamestation 'going' bankrupt), there were 'deal' threads popping up on here left right and centre with people posting reduced games etc from comet.
  
  I was a bit slow in going to my local comet to see what sort of deals they had, when I went they'd virtually 'cleared' out with the odd bit and bob left. Doubt there will be anything this time though will see if I can pop by tomorrow, saw this a bit late today otherwise would have had a quick look.

  Just phoned my local, Had a bundle availible only 250gb + Connect for £199......Tempted but was hoping for just the consol for £129 :( Spose i could sell the connect but they are hard to sell atm and not fetching the difference i need, so going to leave it (suffolk)...
