Nintendo 3DS XL with 4 GB card - £169.97 @ Gamestop (3 Colours)
Cheapest by £10 beating Amazon / shopto etc
The Nintendo 3DS XL is a new version of Nintendo 3DS with 90 % larger screens. The new system will create even more immersive entertainment experiences for users, delivering a wealth of games and video content that can be enjoyed on the go.
The new system's battery life outperforms that of the original Nintendo 3DS, and it comes bundled with a 4 GB SD card.
Even with the addition of the bigger screen, Nintendo's aim was to still make the system available at a reasonable purchase price. Because of this, and because so many fans already own a previous handheld, an AC adapter will not be included

1) It looks far too big from the pic on the right side - will not fit into my rugsack
2) Don't like white - prefer black or blue
Nobody cares.

What's a 'rugsack'? Is it simply a sack for rugs?
But the memory cards require you to re-mortgage your static caravan. So it's swings and roundabouts.

No one was talking about sales. Transformers: Dark of the Moon is the 5th highest earning movie of all time, I don't think anyone has to worry about it clearing up at the oscars.

4GB mem card is around £10-12 these days. Vita is also floating around the £180 mark. Game prices are pretty much the same for both consoles. Considering the resolution for the 3DS is already quite low, I just don't see how this will make any of the games look better. If anything it will just highlight the jaggies more. It's also priced poorly. If I didn't already own a Vita and I was weighing up my options right now, I'd still a choose a Vita. Pretty much the same price and IMO better games.

It's like a carpet bag for your back:
I won't be upgrading myself though, I can only just about fit my 3DS in a pocket and I'd rather save up for the wii u.
