This my first deal post and I think its a pretty good one!

The pre-order for the Wave 2 Amiibo of Luigi, Diddy Kong and Pit for only £8.66 each! (Euro Conversion). This is far cheaper than some UK retailers and even online as these are the cheapest I've currently seen. although not 3 of my favourite characters in Super Smash they are too good a price to pass up and excellent for the collection. These 3 release on the 19th December.

Unfortunately there is no free shipping if your outside France or Monaco on over 25 Euros* So expect a small charge on the total.

Also Though they are shipped from France, Amiibo are not region locked so they should work work perfectly with any copy of the game.

OK, what are these and what do they do?

I have a wii u, and done a bit of reading, but I still don't understand
There pretty much the Nintendo version of Tamagotchi. You use them on various games including Smash and level up them up.
Erm add the postage into the factor and it's pretty much the same.
Yeah, Free delivery would have really been a cherry on top.

In Smash Bros they act are characters that you can play against or with. They level up the more they play and can become very good over time. The figures have a chip in that records the game data. In Mario Kart they add costumes to the mii character. In Hyrule Warriors they add items. They will add to other games in the future too. They are not essential at all, but are a fun little gimmick.
Burger has no idea as to what a tamagotchi is. HXC has it right.
Like 'Nintendo own brand' skylanders / infinity then?

Yes, same technology, but the nintendo characters are already featured in the games so the perks of these figures differs slightly.
For some odd reason I can't log into with my Amazon account :/ It works on, .com and .de!
