Bear in mind that importing anything above around £18 may be subject to import duty and additional carriage.

If being delivered by royal mail, then they charge an extra £4 to process it through customs and then you have to pay the duty on it.

If being delivered by a courier, then you pay much more than this to have it presented to customs.

Just so you all know.

Having said that, I got 4 NDSs from play asia, and not one of them attracted customs duty. It's the luck of the draw.

Also if you google dvdstars you will come across numerous threads elsewhere that aren't overly complimentary about them. They tell you it will be dispatched within 24 hours but then continue to put back the dispatch date for weeks and weeks, even months in some cases.

And...the price you pay is actually $174.99, that's Canadian dollars...which if you go to xe.com and convert to £ is £75.68 - whatever conversion method they are using on that site is clearly not working correctly!

I can't complain. Took DVDstars just over 2 weeks to deliver. Even with normal Xmas glut, postal delays. I wasn't in a hurry @ time. It's taking Tesco longer to deliver all DS games I ordered! 3 out 4 ain't bad. Tetris DS has been cluttering my email with constant delays.

Dvdstar even marked it up as $19 (I requested mark as gift). All in all cost me £77 after conversion. Easily better than paying for one here.

I ordered one from DVDStars 7 weeks ago. They said it had been dispatched almost immediately and told me the delivery date was between the 25th-28th of december, which was fine as it wasn't a christmas present anyway.

The 28th came and went. Still no sign. I sent 3 emails to them asking for shipping confirmation, consignment numbers etc, and just this weekend they finally replied, not with any of the information I had reqested, but with a full refund instead...uh, thanks.

Avoid.

Looks like it's a bit hit and miss then, works for some but not others!
