didn't think you could quote the quidco price as it's not guaranteed? :/ £89 is still good imo.
#2
Yeah, please change the headline, put quidco separate.
#3
How come this is a good deal when you still need to buy games and can get bundles for £99 usually? Not saying it isnt - just wondering. Havent voted either way...
#4
Yeah you can't put quidco in the title...
a) Not everyone uses it...
b) It's not guaranteed...
c) You have to pay £5 to use quidco... well they take it out of your earnings.

Good post kkalami :) I've updated the price in the title so it excludes Quidco ....

I agree it should be shown separately, but:

1) Everyone should use it
2) Only missed two transactions in over two years and currently have received £1600 in cashback. Not guaranteed, maybe, but you normally get it
3) Well worth it.
#7
Quidco only takes you to Tesco Direct which is selling the DS for £96.99 so how did you get quidco to send you to Tesco.com?

I would say it is a good deal for people who are going to use Dodgy cards and dont want to pay the WAY over inflated games prices.

If you go through Quidco, the link is available at the top left of the page for Tesco.com.

Quidco actually tell you this just before you click the link.

Great deal!

How do the cards work - are they plug and play, or is anything else needed?

#17
Fantastic deal.

Could you let us know which site is running a scam so that everyone is aware.

Thanks.:)

Am tempted by this, but really want to take out a three year accidental damage warranty like you can get at Gamestation for £20. Anyone know if you can buy these elsewhere?
#21
Hi All....I ordered a DS from Tesco a few weeks ago, used a voucher to get it for £88. However, Home Delivery Network, who were supposed to deliver, are rubbish. Claimed they'd tried 3 times and i even stayed in the house all day on one occasion, 7am to 7pm is the only slot they have, and they still did not deliver. Eventually called Tesco and Cancelled, went to Gamestation, paid £99 + Wall-e, which I then tradedin for £10 at CEX.

#23
to get it at the stated price click on the tesco.com link on the main page quidco brings you to and then choose entertainment then games category, look at the direct link to know where you should end up

Gamestarpro are running a scam where they take your order £69 for a ds and 3 games, you never hear from
them and they use your credit card details. They are not a registered company in the UK or Jersey. If it seems to good to be true it is.
#24
great!!! finally got the deal i have been waiting for

Don't follow why would you want to buy it from them when Tesco is still cheaper (albeit only a few pennies without Quidco)

They also seem to be out of stock of most colours. Must be missing something?????
#27
Not sure if they are still in stock but I got a White DS Lite for 69.99 (delivered) on tuesday from www.365games.co.uk, its a sealed nintendo factory refurbished unit, suplied with the DS, stylus and charger only (in the official sealed nintendo refurb box - which is an almost standard ds box with an additional red stripe informing its a refurb)..

Charger was US one (as the ds is direct from nintendo us refurbs) but they package a free UK charger as well, and its free delivery, it is as good as a brand new one even down to being sealed in the protective bag inside the packaging.

(They also have DSi's in stock and available at the moment but they are expensive)

So you can use the £5 NOTW voucher to reduce it to £91

In reply to my earlier post about 365games.. I've had a look and they are now out of stock, but i've seen them on there a few times so I imagine they will be back.

The DSi is 239 on there in stock right now..

The games are:

Star Wars Unleashed,
Cooking Guide,
Nintendogs (Labrador),
Viva Pinata,
Mario Kart,
Spore Creatures,
Lego Indiana Jones,
HSM Work This Out.

If they don't have the game in stock you can ask for a special 'Promise Voucher' so you can collect the game (for free) when it is back in stock.
#32
SteveA , I was just offering an alternative for around the same price, albeit Model Gadget's site now states out of stock, Tesco's website states delivered within 7 days, this is the email i got tonight

1 x Nintendo DS Lite Pink
Awaiting stock, expected on Wednesday 03 December 2008

thats not 7 days.
#33
Also received an email that it's delayed due to no stock and will be dispatched 3rd December. Ordered pink and silver.
#34
What about trying WH Smiths this weekend - many of the bigger stores are running 20% off everything so you could get a lite, pending availability of course, for about £80.

However, believed ended today but may be worth a try.
#35
Ordered mine today. Delivery on 7th Dec. :santa:
#36
OOS and not getting any in from the supplier apparently according to the site
#37
Ordered a Black Ds lite on 13th Nov, was given a date of 21st NOV Then got an E-mail changing possible date to 3rd DEC. Called Tesco today after seeing their web site now shows 'Out of stock - No longer available.' Their help desk said no guarantee of 3rd DEC or any other date, "Not sure if it is still available You'll just have to wait and see". S0 I cancelled
#38
Ordered two Black DS on 13th Nov, was given a date of 21st NOV, now changed to 27th November, hope to get it before Christmas :?
Maybe they got too many orders at this price and are hoping people will cancel.
Surely there can't be a shortage of Nintendo DS this Christmas as well.
#39
"If they don't have the game in stock you can ask for a special 'Promise Voucher' so you can collect the game (for free) when it is back in stock."

Asked if they could do this with the console and they said no as its a nintendo shortage :(
#40
Obviously restricted to a few, but if you are flying on business, know some who is going on hols or works at an airport, Dixons Tax free have been selling DS consoles for £85-10 for a long time. If you know someone using an airport, get them to get one for you. Apparently you can even ring and reserve one, although the airport i work in has piles of the things, so no shortage there - posted as a tip, not a deal, cos I got slated when i did....lol

(and, no i do not work for them but it's where I bought my two)
