I love a nice crunchy DS lite with my cooked chicken
#2
What store was this?
#3
mmmmmmmmmmm chicken!!!
#4
lol, my store is bideford, north devon, probably miles from anyone, lol
#5
Bargain price! I am debating whether to buy the ds lite or dsi. But at this price, I think my mind is made up!

Might pick up a chicken or two as well ;)
#6
I doubt this is nationwide :whistling:
#7
Got one at this price a few months ago when they last had this deal. Nice price.
#8
Could this just be leftover stock from the clearance in May (http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/391683/nintendo-ds-lite-clearance-morrison)?

If so, I doubt there'll be many kicking around anywhere.

whats the differnce in DS Lite and DSi's as the gf's debating?

Dsl is old, go for dsi! I got one.
#12
I can't say for sure, but it didn't say clearance, just "special offer". Check on the games stand, the cases are normally above the games

DSi comes with a camera, slightly better battery life and brighter screen I believe.

100% more cost at this price.

if u play old gba games then you cant with dsi. The camera is supposed to be really poor as its 0.3. Supposed to be slimmer, bigger screen and only a slight improvement on the brightness. I read somewhere its worth getting one if you have the old ds but probably not worth it if you have ds lite.

I dunno, its all personal opinions. If anybody has a R4 type card, it will not work on DSi. You need to get another card.

DSi supports more than wep so net browsing is more possible. Not many people use wep I think since it can be hacked into a lot easier than wpa. I believe the old ds and ds lite support wep only

Everyone seems to think the camera is really poor, but they are wrong, I have it and the camera does give out good pictures. I first thought it would be crap from what all people said like you, but I decided to judge for myself and I am glad I did, its much better than what you guys say it is.

Yeah at this price, but RRP is 50% more

Morrisons do this from time to time, you just have to be lucky enough to catch an offer like this.

To be honest, I actually prefer the DS lite to the Dsi. Not too sure why, I think it's probabily because all this fancy stuff like camera and voice changing or whatever isn't worth the huge price the DSi goes for.
#20
The other thing it can do is DS ware like Wii ware, where you can download new games when you pay with nintendo points. It also has an SD slot to save these on and view photos and mp3's.

Indeedy!!!

Morrisons in the title would be nice

I don't play games much so a DSi would be unjustifiable for me. £65 however... just hope I can find one!

Could you give me an example of a card like this that will work with the DSi?

Thanks for the WPA tip, my wireless is WPA too, I'd hate to downgrade security just to accommodate a DS.

There you go, little fella! x

Just phoned Pontefract, Knottingley and Merrion. All are saying price is £90.
#28
Has OP got proof of the price?
#29
what's the probablility of low-price DS Lites toward Christmas? My youngest loves her sisters, but there's not a lot of chance I'll be buying the over-expensive DSi...
#30
Just phoned the Dumbarton store - they said...

"We have them in stock, but we only sell them with a game at the moment and it's £90"

That saved me yet another hukd wasted trip!
#31
Guess it was only at OP's store and not nationwide

R4 do a R4i card specifically for the DSi, not sure about other brands but I guess they will also. I have a M3 card in the Mrs DS lite and a R4 in my sons and they both work fine - I haven't got any experience witht he DSi but I'm guessing the R4i card will work in much the same way.
#33
Just rang the Leicester branch in Freemans Common, they are awaiting a delivery BUT cannot say if they would be selling at £65. Just have to wait & see !!!!
#34
Just phoned and Norwich Morrisons but no mention of £65 DS Lites, only the £90 bundle (or a DSi @ ~£150 or something)

Well from the looks of it, this deal needs to be expired!
#37
I dont suppose anyone has been to the morrisons in wood green, north london to see if they have this??
#38
don't expire this please, there are hundreds of stores nationwide. They are doing them for £65 in other stores too. It's the first time one of my posts went over 200. Bloody people!

I am going by what I read in the reviews, as I said its personal opinions. Your feedback on dsi is helpful as I am still undecided.
