I have checked the £30 off code and it is still working. Don;t forget possible 8% off through Quidco.

I have seen £30 off vouchers on sale in ebay without actually naming Very but I dount it is Very. So hurry before the codes expire.

I know. I posted deals from Very (used to be littlewoodsdirect back then) earlier and they got the same treatment. Personally I have never had problems with them before. The ideal of posting is someone might benefit without actually going by the voting of those who have had bad experiences. HOT or COLD doesn't really matter for me. It would have been much helpful, if cold voters mentioned the reason for doing so rather than just voting cold.

isnt this for new customers.

I am not a new customer and it worked for me in the basket. just before checkout. I didn;t go through checkout as I didn't want this item.

Hi, I have not voted cold, as always think it is very kind of anyone to share a deal they have found. I personally have not had any problems with the Littlewoods Group but there was a huge thread with a lot of unhappy customers on Money Savings Expert in regard to Littlewoods group codes. A lot of codes it seems are user specific and what happens is they charge the full amount up front eg. £99 for the nintendo in this case and then check you are entitled to the code and if so will refund the £30 . If you are not entitled apparently you may not get the money back. Unlike other retail websites it seems it does not identify initially whether you are entitled to use the code. Also some customers have got the discount only find the extra money taken off their account at a later date. I think that is why people are wary of using Littlewoods codes. Here is an article from June 2009 HUKD bitter wallet section.

Hi. Thanks for explaining. Though I have never had any problems but if littlewoods / Very have been doing what you said then I understand the anger and cold voting. That explains.

I wonder if they can do it legally (charge you the full amount or the amount equivalent to code, at a later date)
